These guys used to play all over so cal in the mid 80's. Seems like everytime I went to a show, they were on the bill

Recorded them for a compilation around 1984 or '85 (that never came out due to issues with the label). They were super tight and very professional.

Ahh yes! Plain Wrap. World's greatest openers for any OC show.. Fenders Ballroom too! Loved these guys. I hate that I sold my vinyl years ago to someone in Germany (for a little less than $20). He and I agreed that Plain Wrap was the American answer to The Toy Dolls. Thanks for posting this!

The other day I listened to the whole Dogs Life album on youtube, and I thought "Wait, where's the fucked up cover of Third Stone From the Sun? Maybe they shitcanned it for legal reasons?" Totally forgot it was on this comp, not the album.

Saw them there too. Saw them a few times. they seemed to be on a lot of bills for a while. They were fun to see. Good tunes to slam to. Never did buy this album though.
