Can you please run the test with the Fenix, TAA mode and Frame Gen? I'm trying to determine if I should buy a newer gen CPU. Also, can you display your 1% lows? Thank you!

I can add the lows but unfortunately I can't test this anymore. On the 9800X3D now and sold the 4090, waiting on the 5090. Can retest it once I get the GPU.

Yeah, would be a good time. They fly for crazy prices on eBay. I got 90% of the cost back and almost the same story for the 13900K + motherboard. There's a rumor that the 5080 will launch first but that's okay, I guess the 5090 would come at the end of January then. I'm testing RAM and CPU overclocking right now anyway so don't mind waiting with a weaker GPU in the meantime.

This is a DLSS Quality test. 4K + DLSS Quality = 1440p = 67% of resolution. That's what DLSS Quality is.

Not sure, to be honest. I don’t even remember where that is since I touch the game every 8 months or so and still haven’t finished it. If I have gone through there in any of my videos, take a look at the frametime graph. If there’s stuttering, it will show. I'm on a 9800X3D now and sold the RTX 4090 in preparation for the 5090, so unfortunately I can't open up the game to check it out for you. Do you always stutter in that area? What's your RAM speed?

It's a very overkill cooling solution. Impossible for the chip to heat up with this MO-RA3 420 and dual D5 pumps running at 100% speed. Absurd flow rates.

I mostly play on low but max textures, no RT + only DLSS. Game looks good as it is to me, so I use lower settings to reach that 200-240Hz.

I assume you meant the left side? It's an overlay made in Rivatuner. A blank page and you can create any overlay you want there. Time consuming but worth it in the end. I also use HWiNFO64 for the sensors to make it all functional.

Indeed. Only if you look at all of the cores tho. Watts wise, it's using the correct amount for 4K DLSS compared to other games. If you're looking at the overall load bar for the 13900K, it will always look low because there's too many cores. Best to look at the P cores - they're being used a lot here.

I don't get how your framerate is so high. I'm on the same settings using practically the same setup (4090 + 14900k) and I struggle to maintain 70fps. How are you constantly above 100fps? Any specific settings in Windows or other apps I might be missing?

Not sure. My Windows is stripped with everything turned off. Is your RAM fast? It can have an impact in games like this.

@FrozburnYT ram shouldn't be an issue. After some trying around I also narrowed the problem down to the Nvidia overlay and shadowplay. Having either activated together with Frame gen greatly decreases performance for some reason. Do you have either of those active?

I have a 9800x3d and a 4090 but my gpu never behaves like this @ 1440p. Your usage hovers around high 90s while mine is like high 80s to mid 90s. Highest was 96%. Also I observed that your 4090 is pulling nearly 400w, while mine is around 200-250w :(

Are You keeping Your PC in a freezer ?? I see both Cpu and Gpu are either OC or UV. What voltage do You use in this video ?? Hard to believe You cannot reach even 40 degrees on You gpu or cpu.....

Was during the winter. My PC is always very cold tho, it's in a different room by itself so it's impossible for it to heat up.

What is current cooling solution? That temp on an i9-13900k is lower than normal. I also run a 13900k but with a 4080 instead of the 4090. I found that disabling Hyper-Threading, and disabling the E-Cores (all 16 of them) improved my FPS by about 10 on average in SM2, and dropped my temps significantly.

Indeed. This video is old from launch, I figured it out later that the HT and E cores destroy your FPS in this game. You can see one of the latest vids for this game where I turned them off - much higher FPS. The cooling is in the description. MO-RA3 420 with dual D5 pumps running at 100% speed - CPU block Heatkiller IV Pro. The PC is also in a different room where it's cold. My temps will always be low because of that.

as for the stalker 2. it is a nice game, rather a sequel of the previous series tho, than a separate title. some of the stuttering and environment which is rendered on the go, like around 6:43 in this clip. is a major threat to a gameplay immersion. this is extremely distracting and immediately reminds you that you are in an artificial fake game world. this goes completely against what the devs have been trying to do so far and namely to bring a hyper-immerisve atmosphere, like the red poppy field, many items like boxes and Nikolaich hospital closet with meds, are so real that your brain immediately completes a full picture as if they were nearby.

Not impressed. The mountains looks like a 1998 graphics. The texture arent sharp. Maybe, microsoft should have used unreal engine 5.
