The Warrior Poet Way was as good as John Eldridge’s “Wild at Heart”, which is the highest praise I can bestow upon a book. John is an exceptional man who is leading the way in this new resurgence of masculinity.

I would push back on the idea that things didn’t use to be this bad in terms of corruption, and especially that the media would hold people accountable. That is naive. It’s just worse in difference ways, and now we have more media outlets. Go back in history, there was always the leftist media bias, and at times it was stronger than it is now. FDR, the closest the US has come to a dictator, was elected 4 times, despite his extreme mishandling of every issue that came about. He made the depression worse, he mishandled WWII, he implemented race-based imprisonment, he pushed for the secularization of society, he created the NFA, he stocked up immense power in the executive branch, he raised taxes to an oppressive level, etc.. And yet, he was elected 4 times because the media hated the idea that left wing politics wouldn’t prevailThings are not worse now, we just have the internet to talk about how bad they already were.

Yes, but there seems to always be some journalists or outlet that tried to expose corruption- now it feels like most are bought and paid for.

I disagree with John about myself shifting away from him, because I go out of my way to look him up regularly. I’m sure that I am not the only one to do this. There are those who might drift away, but I’m sure he has a core group that will search him out.
