I love how there are dozens of words in this video I don't understand but then you go ahead and explain what an octave is. That's like one thing I didn't need an explanation for 😂All good though, just gave me a good laugh.

Notes for self: How to introduce new sounds? 1. Use filter sweeps. Either with high pass filter or low pass filter. 2. Automate the volume so that the new sound is not coming abruptly to the listeners ear. Fading in slowly in 4 bars will make it smoother and better. Pro tip: if you automate with the channel rack volume automation, it will let the tail play. But if you fade out the automation of mixer track volume, it will come to an abrupt end.

The last tip was sick. Never thought of it that way. I'll write it down here, as writing helps me remember stuff. During the drop. After 8 bars, to keep drop interesting, you can cut a bit of kick (like 2 beats) and of bass (like 1 beat). Kinda opposite cutting of what you do before drop. This small switch in rhythm, makes a great difference in the drop.
@mukeshpathak73022 ай бұрын
Notes for self: 1. Try to switch something every 8 bars, adding or removing some element. 2. Make 3 slight different versions of each thing - melodies, percs, lead etc. 3. Try to keep a max of 24 tracks - helps to do things faster and in an efficient way. be creative with the arrangement.

I personally use Cakewalk, and it rocks! While it doesn't have the most modern interface, you can do just about anything more modern, paid DAWs can do, and BandLab has done a lot of updates to it too. However, I think it will lose support soon since they are releasing a new version of it that will be paid. Get it while you can guys!
