Why does she take her sister’s tiny house instead of one of the bedrooms in the house? Kinda weird.

Good luck to retire girl. Hope you'll keep making videos when you get broke and homless. You have no idea how financially wasteful your life is.

Hi from Maine! Prices in Maine are high everywhere but Portland is definitely pretty high due to its location. Rent is pretty crazy right now and lucky to find places.

Content like this is so important. Happily a homeowner but love that you’re giving people an actual perspective of life and budget. Also, visible is a great phone plan if you’re looking to go from $75 to $35

@margaretskiff Understood, but a percentage of your monthly expenses should be SPENT towards savings and retirement, but that's just me

Good job. My main critique is that it would greatly improve if you completely seal all cracks, and then paint, you could even dilute white paint and give it a white-wash appearance. But sealing well will discourage bugs and critters, give it a snug feeling, and hold heat or AC temps.

This is an inspiration. We have two sheds in the back which one can be converted into an extra bedroom when one of our adult sons come home. I love the idea of the solar panel.

Sorry but this isn’t a sustainable job by which you can learn proper income. You’re relying on a social media platform which can shut down eventually albeit now or in the future. So it might be good to have a great income from it now but eventually you’re risking having to loose all this the way you already said you did due to the TikTok ban. You might want to reconsider your “job” choices.
@margaretskiffКүн бұрын
So you know nothing about me correct? I do have a full time job outside of social media that probably pays more than yours 😘
@MariqStefanКүн бұрын
@margaretskiff yeah, the thing is I'm a student so no doesn't pay more than mine since I'm not working. Also, I was giving you a genuine advice based on logical facts. It's your choice

No one should ever take out student loans. Pay your way through college even if it takes 10 years. You’ll be a (still very young) 28 yr old with a degree, no debt and 10 yrs of real world work experience.

Loans are still a way to “pay your way through college”. Why work harder when you can work smarter?

Tbh though girl if you’re making that much money where you can afford to blow thousands a month on things you don’t need then why haven’t you bought a house yet? I get it if you move around a lot and it’s not an option but you probably would have had enough for a deposit now instead of wasting your money paying off someone else’s mortgage
@margaretskiff4 күн бұрын
@@Hdlqpf 1) not everyone wants to buy a house 2) Maine is not going to be my home forever, I’ll probably move in the next two at least 3) I can not afford to buy a home in the area I’m living in, if I were to find a similar apartment for sale it would probably be 400,000+ 4) affording the deposit is just the tip of the iceberg for what it costs to buy a home 5) please point me to where I’m spending thousands of dollars a month on things I don’t need
