My older brother is obese, we went to the same school where he was bullied for his weight. It broke my heart. I felt helpless. Till this day it breaks my heart that he went through such a traumatic highschool experience, he’s such a sweetheart too. There’s not a mean bone in his body. My sister who is also 12 is currently going through the same thing. She’s the biggest one in her whole grade. She looks like she’s 16. My parents don’t even realize it’s their fault that their kids are obese. They say it’s “hereditary” I feel for children like Brianna. I pray that my children don’t ever have to go through bullying like that. Heartbreaking.
