Winter had a superb run of races at the highest level during her 3YO campaign in 2017. She had consecutive G1 wins that year at a mile in the G1 English 1000 Guineas at Newmarket, the G1 Coronation Stakes at Royal-Ascot, and in the G1 Irish 1000 Guineas at the Curragh before stepping up to 10F for the first and only time in her career to win the G1 Nassau Stakes at Goodwood. Just over 3 weeks later she would drop back in trip to a mile again for the G1 Matron Stakes at Leopardstown, but would come up just short but go down fighting against a stellar field of rivals, beaten a head by her multiple G1 winning stablemate Hydrangea. But in finishing a narrowly beaten 2nd she would finish ahead of the likes of G1 Queen Elizabeth II Stakes winner Persuasive in 3rd, multiple G1 and Breeders Cup F&M Turf winner Wuheida in 4th, the multiple G1 winning French filly Qemah in 5th, and ahead of two more multiple G1 winning stablemates Roly Poly in 6th and Rhododendron in 7th. She would race once more at 12F in Enable's first Arc victory at Chantilly, where she finished 9th of 18 in mid-field over what appeared a bridge too far for her before being retired to broodmare.

ive just bought Dr Kananga's half sister, her dam is Crepe De Chine (FR) and her sire is called Beat All (USA).
Hi my partner turns 50 in April and she’s trying to organise a race day with meal. As I’ve never been to the races I’m unsure as to what to wear and everyone before you all say why is she organising her 50th well that’s because all the staff at our work place are going where as I’m planning on taking her to Paris for 4 nights . I’m here because I’m trying to figure out what guys wear to race days. I thought about a Scottish kilt. Would this be over kill ?

I was watching a YT video where Sweet Kiss, (aka SK of death), Jockey, 22, passed while crossing the finish line, winning the race. Then, listed there were all the “tragic” race videos, I read some comments on a few. Comments where Novices howl about accidents, some calling for an end to racing. Those novices don’t realize that horses run and play everyday and do get hurt all on their own and yes, sometimes tragically, we lost a 2 month old colt that way, I love this video Clouds kiss video, it shows the heart of the Joc and his affection of a rival. I wish novices could see this Clouds kiss flick and understand most involved in horse racing love the horses and safety is mandated. With any sport there are accidents, just like in daily life. All their howling to cancel racing, (basically ending all animal events and all pet trades), dooms humanity to a sanitized version of life. The howlers are usually, uneducated, “wokes”, who know zero of what they howl about. Humans and horses have co existed together for eons. If the commenters spent a day at the track stalls and saw the immense concern and care of the horses, they might also see the love and have an epiphany.

Two of the truly top shelf fillies of that era. Both with so much talent that I would've hate to have had to live on the difference between how good each of them was.

Isn't any risk of falling if you are almost standing on the horse? It does not tend to move sideways? and do you need short stature or can anyone ride a racehorse?

Is a horse capable of pushing the treadmill with load on it, say like a mechanical drive or does it require the treadmill to be powered? Probably at least to start of with I'd imagine

I love Yeats! But I think you could only say he was the greatest stayer of all time up until the point this video was uploaded a few years back. Stradivarius without question has a dog in that fight now. His CV is quite an impressive sight to behold in it's own right. 4-G1 Goodwood Cup wins, 3-G1 Ascot Gold Cup wins, 2-G2 Lonsdale Cup wins, 2-G2 Yorkshire Cup wins, 1-G2 British Champions Long Distance Cup wins, 1-G2 Queen's Vase win.........................and a partridge in a pear tree!
