Without exaggeration, I have listened to this Hymn more than 500 times. What a song of allegiance! Addendum: Anytime I receive a notification that someone liked or commented, I'm here all over again, watching this wonderful Hymn. Thanks everyone for the like.

Beautiful song. Beautiful sounds. I'm a proud Brit and Scot and an ex soldier. No one does these funeral send offa better than the Brits. It's a song that chokes me up every time I hear it no matter who is being buried.

When Prince Philip died so did an Era. The World I was born into changed - it was a marker in history. I have began writing it all down for future generations. I think we ought - when my generation has gone that World - the non-digital age - will be lost - even forgotten. It was special I know that now. I know how lucky I was to have lived through those remarkable times.

The various uniforms are fantastic. I particularly like those in the red with gold helmets and white fluffy thing popping out the top. Who are they? They look special.

Better than Tina Arena but not quite up to Hugh Jackman’s version. Interestingly, this version is in Ab major!

If more of us lived by her example, selfless dedication to the welfare and needs of others ahead of greed and self-interest, who knows what kind of world we would bequeath to future generations?

My grandmother was from Belfast and was a Protestant. Yes she considered herself Irish, but she was a proud subject of the Crown until she got her US citizenship. She died in 2015 at 93. She adored the Queen. And so I watch this every so often because it reminds me of her, whom I loved dearly.

As an American through and through, I detest the notion of monarchy. But at the human level, as an individual, I hold nothing but the utmost respect for Elizabeth II. She was an exemplary woman. I can say without fear of contradiction that she is Britain’s last great sovereign and that now would be a good time to end it.

God save our gracious King! Long live our noble King! God save the King! Send him victorious, Happy and glorious, Long to reign over us, God save the King. Thy choicest gifts in store On him be pleased to pour, Long may he reign. May he defend our laws, And ever give us cause, To sing with heart and voice, God save the King.

All of this colorful finery is bullshit! Everything they do for any function has to be in upmost fancy expensive fashion possible and it's only to show off to the world they're rich and above everyone else l. Such Goddamned show-offs I can't stand the Royals they make me sick!

I love this piece, and have just realised that it's probably the only moment in a monarch's reign that the throne faces the altar, rather than the congregation. And Charles in a plain old cotton shirt. Such symbolism. Thanks for posting.
