It’s a little hard on the eyes. Things aren’t clear even the movement doesn’t seem continuous. It looks like someone turned the sharpness filter on all the way up.

When recording on an iPhone, I run into many issues: running out of space, as well as it being very difficult to get videos off of it. If I am recording, sometimes I need to wait for a day or more to try to get it to sync even when I do a force push. Even then, in the Photos app, sometimes videos will be missing if shot in multiple takes or out of order. After trying to make the iPhone work, I just don't find it to be efficient or effective for my needs. I want to be able to record directly on to a card and begin editing. Apple makes it too difficult to do this effectively IMO. Also recording in cinematic mode is not great for vlogging type stuff as it ends up showing up pretty clearly as a filter. I have a 14 pro max, maybe better on the newer models but I finally ordered the Osmo to test out.

Also you have to consider battery usage and storage. I’d prefer to have an iPhone and a DJI Pocket 3.

Just got mine today it’s only been on my cart for 8 months 😂. The best for point and shoot and incredible images. Plus you can edit and color grade inside the Dji Mimo app and it’s a gimbal.

I recommend trying the HDR mode on iPhone and pulling the data off on an external harddrive. It's just incredible what you can actually do with an iPhone

OP3 has tracking, miles better in low-light environments; with the DJI Mimo app you can use your iphone as a monitor AND have total control over the OSMO Pocket 3 from a distance.

Happy new year to you as well! Certainly gotta take time to recharge the batteries. My go-to activities are workout at 4pm, run club on Monday's, and when it's warm out golf in the evening or weekend.

It’s better picture quality than an iPhone from what I have seen it do. Specially in lowlight performance. For its size, it’s the GOAT. The gimbal does have its drawbacks though as well.

I think most of the color quality is just the color grading you do in post, as both shoot in a 10 bit log format. BUT the resolution quality difference is a win for both sides. The pocket has a fixed 20mm lens, and a 1/1 sensor size, whereas the iPhone has 24mm-48mm with a 1/1.14 sensor size. This basically means if you want a focal length that is different from the base one you get with the pocket, you need to zoom in and therefore lose quality. So tldr, for vlogging (you want a wider angle) and the pocket is a no brainer because of its tiny size and cheap price tag. But if you want the overall better camera, the iPhone leads by a wide margin. (Which is really surprising) Like if you think about it, 20mm at 1/1 for the pocket, and 48mm at 1/1.14 for the iPhone, it’s obvious which will give you a better quality image.

Just got it & i can tbh say this is single handedly a iphone killer! You say just 1 more thing to carry around but your not telling everyone its way easier to carry then the iphone to start with plus unless making a call/text your iphone can hang out in your backpack or pocket & i guarantee no one is roll video with iphone like you can the osmo pocket 3...

I feel like you didn't use the osmo to it's potential. It can definitely look better than this. 4k 24fps. using an nd filter, turning the sharpness down. I just think this video isn't a great example.

I am just always pissed off by starting filming on my iPhone, since it’s more of a computer to me. Although it’s very capable little device. I remember filming a product review shoot with my old GoPro and it was so nice 👍 Looking forward on getting my hands on this Pocket 3 ❤
