I'm a huge reader, so i didn't mind the lack of animation. I understand people's disappointment about the lack of it, but i don't think it's worth connecting that disappointment to the story itself, which was very well written and intriguing. You can obviously see the difference between the players that just like men and spice and the players who actually read the lore and appreciate the slow but nicely paced expositions.
