I think that this vision is referring to Humanity, as in the beginning maybe referring to how Humanity already has many cities and usage of the word “peoples”, “peoples” as in plural is often depicted as a different number of groups of people like cultures, ethnicities, races and such, we don’t know about racial standards of other species, maybe the Krill and the Helium Drinkers but I don’t think that would fit here right now.

I don't believe the Syzygy was a myth... but I do believe that the part about it destroying Fundament was a lie. Of course, it could've very well been a lie that the Witness willed into being to better manipulate. The subjugation of the Krill was a masterstroke: the Witness spins an elaborate lie for Sathona and her sisters to believe, while Rhulk subjugates the Worm Mother who will eventually create the Krill's future Gods.

Pretty sure that Psion also orchestrated the trap that got Amanda killed. Given that Ikora confirmed what I had suspected since Season of Defiance. That with Calus gone, it would've taken a Psion or two or three to wrest control of the Shadow Legion. Kinda annoyed that Yirix didn't show herself in this episode.
