That is NOT going to stop a thief. can tow away using the chains or any chain. waist of time. feel sorry for the inventor who has spent so much money on a patient and convinced themselves this is a great idea.

unfortunately, if a thief wants something bad enough, not much will stand in his way.
@jimcollins80973 күн бұрын
I have one of these and the comments are right. Even if you put the chains in the lock, you could still use a separate chain to connect and at least pull it a short distance. Still the lock looks formidable and would hopefully move the theives to the trailer next to mine with no lock.

Is that the Temu version of the Proven Industries lock? PI uses the Paclock lock. There's also a cone faced Paclock that prevents drilling

Those are not crows foot, they're flare nut crows feet for brake lines, hydrualic lines etc, regular crows feet dont have the lip on the tips. You don't need those unless your taking off brake lines or hydraulic lines in tight spots you will not use those in a professional application unless its a hyrdro line or a brake line.
@spudgamer6049Ай бұрын
Hydraulic lines are the only thing I can remember using crows feet on. They were the regular style rather than this. High speed travel shift hoses on a JD 17D. Had both sides fail at different times. Two of the 3 hose failures I've had so far...
@21burnzАй бұрын
ive used them mainly on power steering rack jobs to get the lines off the rack, they come in super handy when you need them though

Something I've learned throughout the years. Either hold your rod to keep it steady or bend bend the rod and clamp it closer or leave it in a U. Hard to do a good steady weld with the stick out so far. I used to work with a guy that bent every rod. He'd say, the weld is more important than using a whole rod.
