Hey Folks! We apologize for the lack of video this week. We had a technical issue resulting in us losing camera feeds. We'll be back with full video next week 🙏 Another quick note, the AGLC had rolled back some of their rulings shortly after we recorded this week's episode: stratcann.com/news/aglc-quickly-corrects-course-on-sampling-rule-change/

It's funny because if you speak with any well respected international labs they will say High North numbers are also inflated, certainly they are more honest than most labs in Canada but they also have clear issues too
@Jeffery-q2j2 ай бұрын
There are several reputable labs in Canada, like Eurofins and SGS, but High North isn't one of them. The OCS deliberately sent anything over 30% to Sigma Analytics, avoiding High North. It's clear who’s pretending to be legitimate-they have no real reputation. @Legacies Podcast, if you’re looking to call someone out, here’s your chance. The guy is literally sitting in front of you-this Rick dude.
@Jeffery-q2j2 ай бұрын
Imagine hearing this from the very people responsible for inflating THC numbers. High North Laboratories was one of the first labs to provide fraudulent results-not just for THC but also for terpenes. Even worse, they’ve falsified microbial testing data. Until just a month ago, they didn’t even have an ISO certification or participate in proficiency testing. Meanwhile, legitimate labs that follow proper standards are losing business because High North gives clients whatever numbers they want. So, here’s a question for the Legacies podcast: how much did this fat dude pay you to pretend they’re the good guys?

This is a great episode! As someone who entered this industry after much of the path was laid, I’ve wanted to know and be mindful of that path. Much appreciated to David for explaining it and to you guys as well!

And here, here for the discussion around the distribution channels and business plans! That’s my prior career jam and see so much parallel between my previous marketing experience (which people get “branding” and “marketing” confused!).

No matter how much of a tolerance I have, there is a change in physiology and perception as the THC does its work. Especially in those first few minutes after inhalation. When our attention is diverted to processing our emotions, rather than responding to a road emergency, we will have a slower response time. I support the suggestion to not like or comment on those posts. I appreciate you talking about this.

Regarding increasing the amount of THC in edibles, the recommendation would be to allow up to 100mg per package, but only 10mg max per piece. This makes sense to me to compete with the illicit market in a way that provides dosage safety for consumers.

Refillable will never happen till they remove the 1000mg limit of THC per package. Even if we do remove that limit disposable will beat it out. Also on the 510 note I'd like to note the negativity surrounding it is not the format itself, but rather the mix of suppliers of these hardware. With so many suppliers there is a large mix of 510 Cartridges in market with different tech and QA processes.
