You're spot on about craft show pricing! In my area I have seen prices from $25.00 to $100.00 for a 10x10 space! I try to be unique in that I try not to duplicate what others have. Why should people visit me when two others have the same things? I do small wood projects (refrigerator magnets, coffee mug trees, tea light holders and cell phone charging stands, to name a few), and I have recently begun lamp making which for me isn't hard at all. I make lamps out of a variety of materials and try to be as unique as I can. I have several made of wood, a couple wood/metal lamps, one jug, a vintage syrup bottle and a plastic Folgers jar. I also have a log lamp. I have not heard a single bad comment about what I have to sell. People are interested enough to stop by and look, but they don't want to take the plunge to buy. I'm approaching my wits end!

I put two business card holders on the table. One on each end of the table. They take them too. I also have freebies but no one knows the price to buy or that I have them. I always have $1 items.

Hey, I'm looking to recreate something like this for my son birthday. Did you use blue buttercream to cover cake and clouds please ? X
@KraftingWithKandaceАй бұрын
Yes! I actually just bought canned blue icing! For 1 can I like to add a teaspoon of vanilla and a pinch of salt to help counter the sweetness of canned icing! And just white icing for the clouds! Simple, but adorable! Best of luck! 💕

All of these were so cute!! The bunny sign was definitely my favorite 😍 have you ever tried using the round spouncer sponges for stenciling??? I did a sign class this week that used stencils and my residents found out they like using the sponges instead…I have to try it myself now! Lol
@KraftingWithKandace2 ай бұрын
Thank you! I actually did use the spouncer for the "hello", but It just doesn't work great with the chalk paint and I had to go over it again. Anytime I've tried a sponge material with it, it cracks! However, it seems to do just fine with acrylic! I think the chalk paint is just too dry! So that is why I tend to use stencil brushes! But I do appreciate the tip! 💕
@emilyseilhamerart2 ай бұрын
Oh that makes sense! It probably works better with only thinner paints and stencil brushes work with thicker paints. I should experiment lol @@KraftingWithKandace

Prepress the garment to remove any moisture, which can ruin the transfer of the image. Always lint roll to prevent the lint from being sublimated instead of the fabric. Sublimation garments can be washed as you normally would wash your garment prior to sublimation.

Thank you for these helpful tips! I'll definitely keep them in mind! And hopefully they help other too! ❤️

HTV: Do a second press with a Teflon sheet after removing the carrier sheet. There’s special care for shirts or other garments with HTV applied, as well as rhinestones, or DTF, etc . Cold wash inside out, no liquid softener; cool dryer inside out. Iron inside out. Don’t iron over the image. Best wishes!

Although I’m a year late… Concerning the ghosting on your tumbler: that is a taping issue. Search for how to tape a 20 oz sublimation tumbler. It has to be taped tightly top and bottom, and down the seam, so that no air can get through, and the image is close to your tumbler. You can do it. Best wishes!

Looks really amazing! You guys did a great job! Nice to see a home gym that doesnt cost like $10,000 to replicate. This is actually realistic to do. I think one cool thing you guys could add is some color changing led light strips, maybe lining the windows. It would help give a cool vibe to the room plus your daughter would probably enjoy looking at it too! Shes so cute btw. Thanks for sharing, new sub here. 😉👍🤍

Thank you so much! 💕 We worked so hard on it, and wanted to show that it is attainable without all the high end costs! We have since changed it up slighted, as I took up kickboxing! We do have plans to add lighting! It just seems to go to the back of the to-do list when others things pop up! 😅

I agree!! If no price shown on item . I walk away. I do not have time (who does) to wait and ask price especially if they are talking to other people. I will go to next vendor, and walk in to flip over to price. Plus like you said, it gets me INSIDE their area to maybe buy MORE.
@sweetolie15 ай бұрын
Another thing I will walk away from...is OVER CLUTTERED AND STUFFED FULL TO BRIM tents or areas ...not taking chance on breaking something with my purse or small tight area...plus it seems grungy and dirty to me.
