Red moters have slightly differ water pumps depending on what model and different fans and how the hub sits on the spindle ,also worn lift pumps can have a broken pin on the lever , which means they will pump if you operate the lever when it's off the engine , bolt it on and it won't work I know because I found myself far from home in a VB commy 202 lucky for me their was a wrecked holden nearby I scrounged the lift pump off it and got back on the road .R
@BunkerFuel4 ай бұрын
I've placed on a new fuel pump and the problem is now solved. With the water pump, I will just press off the mounting flange and machine it down in the lathe seeing as the pump was only $16.

All very cool ect... but is it really the ethical choice to keep these old combustion engines going? Electric is the way foward and if you care about this planet maby you should think about converting it to Electric? Kinda a bad example for your child. #stopclimatechange #futureforourchildren #vegandietforplanetearth

Is this a bit of marketing going on here on another guys vlog... Mmmm.... I'll stick to my ORIGINAL Landies as long as I live... Purist... If I need an electric car, then I'll buy one... At the inflated prices at this stage, and not fully proven as a good investment, not thank you 👎🏻

Can't imagine that I silently, except for the irritating whining of the electric motor, gliding down the paved ( tarred ) highway in my "green" Landy from charger to charger point, chewing on a carrot or lettuce, instead of being on a gravel track in nature, camping, building a fire, chucking a big piece of juicy beefsteak on the coals... Just imagine that smell of a new fire the next morning, mixed with the aroma of coffee with hot cows milk, bacon, eggs and sausage, wow man... "Hey love, I'm starting the generator to charge the Landy for our short trip home, ok....did you bring the fuel ?" Never ever....
@BunkerFuel7 ай бұрын
Also, this is not an admission of guilt, the bridge was not harmed in the collection of the Land Rover. We re-assessed and decided to use a trailer after the first corner. (It has terrible steering lock). . . . . This was also filmed on a closed course in mexico by professionals.

Save as much as you can of the original kit, a lot of the replacement after market kit is cheaply made shit. Been working on my 2A ute for 6 years now, while it still works on the farm. Only vehicle I've ever bought that has gone up in value.
