Most of the remaining Knight sidewinders are at the Republic Lewisville yard, at least that’s what a helper told me

I figured, there wasn't enough room for all 30 of those trucks in WM's yard. Might just have to head out there and catch one final glimpse of them.

@ idk how true this is but apparently the owner is trying to get them started back up and they want Carrolton as one of their contracts if they start back

Nice job catching all the rentals they have. Definitely wanna spend more time out that way in the future, didn’t know all the other trucks they had when I was there. The reason you’re seeing so many Pythons countrywide is cause WM decided to stop doing business with McNeilus after they partnered with Republic and Oshkosh to make their new electric ZR. WM switched almost completely to Heil

Pretty interesting that WM went down that route but I guess the efficiency costs of the Python was negligible to them. Is there a reason why WM stopped with Amrep too?

@ as far as I know they still buy small amounts of Amrep and Labrie but majority Heil

Funny enough, me and a few other enthusiasts were out there last week hunting for them. They have at least 2 from Moreno Valley. I think WM was waiting on DOT info to start using the others officially. Super glad you caught this one!

how do they bring it here they just drive it or tow truck

Great catch. I believe this is an ex WM North San Diego County truck since they have/had ACX Amrep Side Loaders with CNG tanks mounted on the side instead of the body
