As a swede this was fucking hilarious to see live.

I think the problem is mostly bitter critics who can't go a waking moment without complaining about something. Either that or they are forced at gunpoint to make nonstop content and have to come up with something to write about, as trivial as it may be.

He's always bantered it's hilarious. Don't like it then leave. They're the Strokes, you think they give a shit?

I think this is funny and the audience in the video seems to think this is funny, still don’t get all the complaining. Because they were late 30 mins? Scandinavia is such a snooze fest.

People were probably just disappointed because of the high quality of performances in general during the festival. Both Megan Thee Stallion, Dua Lipa, HAIM, and St. Vincent were brilliant on the Orange stage. Kacey Musgraves and Tyler, the Creator did alright, too. Then there were lots of smaller artists such as Little Simz, IDLES, Horsegirl, and Phoebe Bridgers performing very well on other stages. The Strokes were supposed to end it with a bang, but they obviously didn't. That's probably why people are exaggerating their disappointments. This festival was nothing but a snooze fest. Go there next time.

@@douglasdahlstrom949 Respectfully, for the artists you mention for the Orange Stage, I personally think they come in short on the music quality so they have to put up a show. I’d never play their musical other than as background. And Tyler the Creator I just am not going to comment on. I agree Idles are amazing at shows, but I like the Strokes too. It’s high quality music and cool people delivering it in person. Perhaps they’re not suitable for large events where people are obviously looking for something else.

@@fabulousness84 Playing St. Vincent as background music is a very bad idea, but I get your point. I am a huge fan of the Strokes and would prefer them over any of these artists as well. But I can tell a great performance from a mediocre and maybe they just weren't on fire that day. I definitely think they're suitable for large events but they would have to be really great to overshine previous acts during that weekend.
