Classic early Steve Earle. These songs have gotten me through bad times and good times.

My dad was a Vietnam era draftee. I couldn’t be prouder of those guys! The politicians lost that war not the GIs. Everyone please remember that. They answered the call in spite of the political stupidness.

I can never find a bad Steve Earle song! "I was smoking everything in sight" put a smile on my face every time. I was a designated assistant for my boyfriend in in an 18-wheeler--most y'all have a good and a log book that's off, LOL! And the rockt Man is simply incredible 😺

Why didn't you get a full pitch?
@RichBaxterMusic2 ай бұрын
I'm lucky to had any airtime based on this series always doing longer pitches for actual business. They were aware I'm a working prototype for my gigs which got a great response but edited down. More would have been great as I was in there an hour or so. They missed some good chat, especially with Deborah and Peter. My whole pitch and opening Stomp It song was missing. I'm very lucky though to have been shown and given any airtime. I know what I have is different. It just needs the right guidance. Even with people with disabilities wanting to play. I've had an email about that already and it was in my original pitch. I'm really thankful for the 3 mins. One door opens another. 🙂

@@RichBaxterMusic You were dealt a bad hand! Seems like they overbooked and had to choose one to cut down. I'd have been annoyed if they cut my song out. Regardless, your energy seems great, keep going man. I'm sure it'll be a hit if you put in the work
@RichBaxterMusic2 ай бұрын
@@dimitriousdrake Thank you!! It's definitely great leverage to the next stage. It's worth mentioning that not everyone that goes in the Den is lucky enough to be aired. I could have completely missed out which would have been much harder to take. I'm extremely thankful to the producers!

We used to hang out off of Memorial Road at a Garlands parking lot and a nearby baseball field, but cruising Telephone Road was a scene. It could get rough. It was an older than high school blue collar workers cruise hangout. Biker bars, hot rods racing, loud stereo cars everywhere. I took some dates there when I was atill too young to be in that scene. One date stayed at a bar and decided she liked the older guys on payday, wallets fat with cash. She became a dancer. This song reminds me of a lot of people I haven't seen since high school.

Chris Knight is a raw powerhouse singer, song writer, story teller, performer, talented guitar player all rolled into one man. Perhaps one of Country Music's best ever ! He does his thing with or without Nashville's approval, blessing, or endorsements. He has earned my respect for that and is a real deal dude of a man ! Thank you Chris Knight for sharing your Music sir !
