Hello dear Honestly, I'm using both wool and threading, but if you want to do Benny and Betty, hairstyle wool works perfectly rather than threading because with wool, you can create different styles in one protective hairstyle(Hopefully it makes sense ).

Holy cow this amazing! African threading is dying and I was to be apart of the African threading community! And NEVER knew how to braid my own hair but I just sewed & threaded my first threaded flat twists (first on my mannequin, than on myself) about three days ago and it doesn’t look half bad! African Threading has the same amount of time as any other hairstyle one tends to do/ want to have!! It’s quite disturbing that in my country, no one has barely heard of this method at all! I showed it off to some folks and yeah, I’m gonna keep on doing this!

You still can do it dear,just cut long wool and make sure the wool is longer than your hair so that you will be able to wrap on the wool even when you already can't hold your hair
