How well do they fit horses with wider shoulders? I’ve never used a treeless saddle. What do I like for in a second hand one???

Hello! Under the onside seat jockey. The numbers are stamped on a metal plate. You can find out more about how to read your serial number here: circley.com/how-do-i-read-my-model-number

What is the benefit of forward hung stirrups like this? Does this place you too much in a chair seat?

For the 7/8 rigging, does it matter which ring you use for the starting point? I’ve seen both ways so unsure what is correct.

How do you finish the tie for the 7/8 position? Also curious what the other side looks like? Do you use two Latigos?
@CircleYSaddles
@CircleYSaddles 3 жыл бұрын
Hello! You will finish by securing the tie strap with the girth buckle. Run the excess tie strap up to the keeper. On the offside depending how much strap is left, you can run through the keeper on the cinch, take it up to the saddle keeper if you have one on the off side, or secure at the rigging dee. You do the other side EXACTLY as you do the on side. No matter which rigging you use, you must do the same on each side or it will make your saddle feel crooked and off. I hope this helps. Thanks!

how do you finish it off using the prong?
@CircleYSaddles
@CircleYSaddles 4 жыл бұрын
Hello! Yes, that's right. You'll use one of the holes in the latigo to securely fasten it to the cinch so it stays in place. Then run the excess latigo up the latigo carrier.

With that flexibility, how can it distribute the weight of you or of the stirrups?
@CircleYSaddles
@CircleYSaddles 5 жыл бұрын
Hello, it does have neoprene skirts to absorb shock and help distribute the rider’s weight. Because there are no tree bars, you can really feel the horse.

@@CircleYSaddles if we can really feel the horse could the argument be made the horse can also really feel us? I've heard a lot of mixed opinions on treeless saddles but have yet to see any firm scientific evidence that one is better than the other.

Hi Karissa, we're sorry you're experiencing this! We need more information to see about a solution. Is your horse wide with flat withers? Please call 800-531-3600 or email [email protected] so we can help. Have your saddle's serial numbers available which are found under the onside seat jockey, and we will need images of your horse unsaddled and saddled. Thank you!

CircleYSaddles he is pretty round with not much wither. his shoulder is a little smaller than it should be right now due to an ill fitting saddle before (which is why i switched to treeless) i’ll shoot an email over soon:) thank you!

Sounds like your problem is your saddle pad because treeless saddles will conform to you and the horse try a non slip saddle pad
