You are just lovely! Such a sweet nature and your recipe looks delicious! I would love to try Sturgeon however; I'm located in USA in the Midwest and we simply don't have access to this fish.

I am eating cod livers as I watch this😊 2 hard boiled eggs, chopped bacon Primal kitchen mayo (keto friendly) . I eat a Carnivore diet but will use this primal kitchen mayo occasionally as it is very clean. I blend the eggs dejon mustard ,a dash of pickle juice and eat the livers whole. No carbs. I am no longer size 3x and no longer diabetic. This is a perfect appetizer before my ground beef for dinner. 🎉

Found this while looking for some ideas on how to use canned cod liver (I'm American). If I can't eat all this in one meal, can you keep it in the fridge for a day or two?

I wonder what is the weight of your can of cod liver? My can looks much smaller, but I want to make the recipe as written. I will use 2 cans, 4.3 oz each.

Yeah, but some things are delicious, even if they look a bit out of the ordinary. For example foie gras or tuna ventresca or oysters or escargots or scallops or mussels. You may be "missing out" on some delicacies if you go by look only.

I was disappointed that you discarded the oil. It is HIGHLY REGARDED as a HEALTHY OIL. You could have made your own mayo by whisking that oil with fresh pasture-raised eggs. Store-bought mayo has UNHEALTHY PROCESSED rapeseed oil and SUGAR which disqualifies it's use for KETO diets. Other than that, thank you for sharing this recipe!

I love cod liver. I did buy Russian can 6 years ago. Had to throw it in trash. The cod liver taste good but it was mix with long and sharp fish bones and fish scales. I was not happy at all. It was expensive and horrible. But thank you Zhenya for your recipe I really like it. I do make devil eggs and it's verry similar to your recipe :)

The Korean carrots are a good addition: All they are is carrot shreds pickled in sweetened vinegar, maybe with some hot pepper flakes added. I will try this with the carrots, baba ganouj, raw onion slices and avocado. And leftover thinly-sliced steak.

If you’re more paleo inclined substitute the normal mayo with primal garlic aioli instead, it makes it so delicious!
