@Audy26 Thank you! <3 Agreed Mizu was a pain lol, it took me rolling Burst on the Tzi Tzi head and the wigglyness at the end almost had me thinking it was over until the screen shook and with Rajang I could feel it halfway through and knew it was the one and had such a vast range of emotions with that final counter after a 2 season long struggle of 10* finally being over! 🥳💪

@saulv960 Thank you! I would try to factor in some Burst or Crit Boost if possible; The 10*'s have insane amounts of health dude. I've been messing around with Rajang Chest, Element 5, as much burst as possible and then a few CE/Wex if possible but 10* is where you really get to learn the monsters movements and learn when to maximize damage. @burtgummer4565 I'd say start looking into elemental builds when it comes to 8* Plus monsters; it's loads easier slowly building out elemental builds as once you get element attack 5 and a decently graded elemental LS, they'll outclass the Kulu LS by a large margin. This hurts for me to say because in almost every MH I've tried to get a Raw damage build going, but to give you an idea. For Nightshade Paolumu; My Kulu LS is G10 4/5 and even with an affinity/Crit boost 4 build I can just reach over half of 10* Nightshade, a mixed elemental set comes much closer to dealing out the damage I need to kill him

@BluminescentJ That's a great question, as long as the monster is weak to the element, MHN does damage calculations weird and just adds your element damage like it was raw damage; so in that case I'm really happy I have a max Legi LS and I was looking at the new skills too definetly some interesting options to test out with the new monsters!

@Audy26 Thank you Bro! <3 Dude after hitting the wall at BD last season I just said to myself "Aight I'm gonna experiment a bit more with driftsmelts and do more research on how to get as much possible damage as I could with Legi LS" Turns out after looking at the damage #'s using sneak attack lvl 4 wex 4 was a 500 damage bonus as long as I could stay "behind" the monster. I wouldn't use the build for all ice weak monster but for BD and Zin ohhh yeah it made a world of difference! After getting Sneak attack lvl 4 yesterday morning on my Kush legs, I noticed a large difference in how close I was getting to ending Zin until finally I clutched it out 😁

@@SolanumX indeed sneak attack is huge boost if you can keep the uptime, and good thing zino's tail is the weakpoint most of time too. Your journey is almost over, goodluck for the next urgents!🙌

@Kaloris24 Exactly! I was messing around with different builds and sneak attack really made a difference vs Black Diablos so I applied the same tactics to Zin and it worked!

@Kaloris24 So that can only be done after releasing a Iai counter with a glowing red meter, that will allow you to do the initial follow up stab and then go up for a helm breaker outside of special; leme know if ya have any more questions happy to help!

@@SolanumX How do you release the counter? I know the bar goes up as I attack and don't get hit and that when it is full I do more damage. That's all I really know.

@Kaloris24 the best way I can put is release the counter as the hit would be going through your body, and if you hit the monster or not it doesn't matter as long as your meter is red you can do the follow up stab into helmbreaker

​@Kaloris24 when you have max bar, tap and hold to sheathe your weapon. Time the monster attack before it hits you and release. This will perform a Iai counter and tap again after you dash thru the monster to go into helmbreaker move.

@chango7771 I'm hoping the same with the story hurdle dude; BD was definitely the hardest monster from last season and im very happy to be past that wall this early! The driftsmelts were key dude sneak attack level 3 and the ele 5 and kush legs just gave that Lil extra damage needed but it still had to be flawless especially for BD. Good luck and keep pushing! 💪

@@aceraw7527 Thank you!! I wanted to get a counter on the tail beam and finally got the perfect one, and then the Rajang counter at the end was the first time I've countered that attack and when the explosion hit and the hunt ended to myself I was like 😵

His moves are kind of like a distant memory but my muscle memory remembers from the demo attempts and then killing him in the main game in Rise so it's a bit of an odd feeling fighting him right now I don't feel in sync but it will come back to me in time for the 10* for sure!

@aceraw7527 thank you! This wasn't the best run I know I can do it better but some of his moves from rise are in MHN like the charge ups and the tail cannon attack and stuff so I'm happy Magna is in the story quests so I can take down the 10*! <3

@aceraw7527 Yeah I missed when he'd create a mine of hellfire, but I looked at the effect description I guess you have to land a perfect evade while inflicted with hellfire blight to create the mine

Exactly dude I would not have had nearly as clean of a run without that stagger lock, this was a potential key fight in order to clear the 10* Story and I'm so happy I'm past it now 😊

The part breaker roll I got on my legi waist really shines in this situation, I will say it took a few tries to trigger the headbreak before he was able to do the spiral tail water attack where he levitates above you; but once you manage to get it the end of the fight is much much smoother. I don't blame you on the restarts at all lmao I used to restart at Radobaan until I managed to get the Ice attack driftsmelt on my barioth arms 🤣 there's still a good # of days left if all goes well I might actually be able to clear the story which is nuts

@Anylastwords_YT Bro the 10*'s I feel like are just a wall that the devs put in like " Oh you think your hot sh*t, here give this monster a go with an insane amount of HP" 🤣 and it only get more nuts the farther you go in 10* story but the best part you've already done getting more 8* and 9*'s on the map

@@SolanumX definitely bro. When I started the game and then got to 8s I had a friend in my group who was already stacked on WGS and starting on 10. I really had no motivation to get to 10 cause I knew from getting into 8 it pays to be geared and ready for that grade you are fighting with close to the same tier weapon and armor. 10s now feels more like a mental battle than anything, like you go up against the monster for the first time and you either crush it or get kind of close or you are nowhere near clearing its health pool but then you go back at it again and again learning the little tricks that help you out out more damage quicker and it slowly gets easier. It also kind of has me experimenting with different sets and builds sometimes depending on the situation
