@@EverythingMechanical the Marina is pretty close, I owned one for a couple of years and I became very close to a set of wheel ramps and a grease gun. How a committee at BL could’ve got together, thrown a bunch of parts onto a new car that had known faults on other cars and said job done is beyond me.

The question reads whether the TR7 was the worst British Car ever. HA! HA! Every car "built" in Britain was BAD! How can it be said? Because every car built in Britain was the worst. The British thought that every car should be owned by a mechanical genius who owned a Garage-full of tools and battery-chargers. Oh, and every owner had to also be very adept at rust repair and suspension repair. Masochism helped an awful lot as the cars were seldom weather-tight.

Nice car but you cant use the V12 HE engines, they drop valve seats because the crappy heads are India made and the valves are also some import crap, the pre HE is much better! All english made by BL and much stronger. So convert al HE to pre HE V12 Engines or Mercedes 560SEL V8!

Okay, at 0:23 you mentioned the Bentley S1 - no such model - it's simply called the Bentley S Saloon, also just noticed - @ 5:53, Em Kay Vee Eye!!?? You mean the Mark Six (Mk VI) Bentley, I'm sure! Other than that, it's a necessarily and brutally honest opinion of this series Rolls Royce. Well done, congratulations and many thanks, I did enjoy it. Take care and all the best.

hi there, i can tell you the chassis on the 1/2a were a lot stronger right up to 1971 after that, they were made of thinner material, because of BL's policy, a good vehicle but rust buckets which was not addressed.also g/box design the rear mainbearing housing could leak leading to oil to pass into the transfer box.i had it on every l/rover i owned
