Sorry, but chunky sandals do not appear classy and chic…they may be comfy, but do not look polished. They look awkward and heavy, drawing the eye downward away from the upper part of the body and take away from the elegance of the outfit.

This is the look I’ve wanted for ages. I Googled contrast-trim and Polo tops until they finally came back in style, I love these preppy classics.

I love white shoes and accessories for spring and summer, they look so elegant. White is the most abundant hue in my clothing, too, I just love wearing it. Since last year’s ivory trend, it’s been difficult to find true white this year. I don’t get it, brands must know that this year’s light neutral is “Brilliant White” (Pantone), not ivory/ecru/cream. Of course, there’s always white button-fronts and tees available, and some white summer dresses, but I want more basics like trousers and skirts, and details like contrast-trimming in white, and patterns based on white, not ivory.
