When you live on your own you notice every little detail!! That scratch on the wall...that speck of dust on the floor!! It's something that some ppl just don't understand for sure!!

Great idea for setting the rafters. Gives me a reason to buy a small saw. Good enough? Haha! Good enough for a machinist and good enough for me is 2 different worlds. Haha! Going to be a kick a.. wood shed.

I had to laugh when you spoke about how the top log of the woodshed was good enough, buuuut would be better the other way. My Son is the same way. I am definitely a "good enough" is good enough type of person and been happy leaving it but that would have bugged him until he had to fix it. Good you have a great neighbor because you know you would have stewed about it until you flipped it around by yourself.

Another great vid! Loved it all. You have the best off grid homestead. You are meticulous (which is a good thing). The pipe holders, great idea, neat. Noticed what great water pressure you have too. Watering the garden. Just love your place. Never a dull moment. Always happy to see a new vid. The wood shed looks great. Can’t wait to see it done. Have a great week! 👍

After lifting the elevation of my water system 3 different times.😂 It’s plenty for the garden now. It’s about 7 feel lower in the garden than the cabin. At 24 pounds pressure. so I get about 3 more than the cabin. 27 lbs at the garden.👍

Have you tried sharpening your sawmill blades?
@offgridhomesteadingmcgarve149410 күн бұрын
I haven’t yet. Now I don’t know how good of a job I could do by hand.😂 Woodmizer makes blade sharpers. I’ve look into them. Not sure yet if it a good investment me. I do pay 28$ a blade new. 3-4 logs with one usually.

Heard they had snow in pc. I’m in Europe right now back to the grind in a couple days. Thanks for the video.

I love every new improvement! There’s a whole lot of folks that claim to be “off grid” who should be learning the right way to get things done from you! I think I mentioned this before, but when you’re on or near that log deck, use a lot of caution. Once they start rolling you don’t want to be even close! Buena suerte

Sometimes, we are so preoccupied with our daily grind that we lose sight of the genuine gift of living. Thank you for reminding us there's real joy to be found in the maintenance thereof! Peace, brother.
