Saw Sacred Reich many many years ago opening for Sepultura on their Arise tour (91-92); and saw Vio-lence with, I think it was Biohazard and/or Terror... anyway, wasn't able to make this show.

I was at the show and was never convinced that the drummer & guitarist in the first band were playing the same songs. Caldera were fun and Eyehategod was great, even if the singer came across as a bit of a douche in his between-song banter.

Yeah, EHG's singer seemed pissed off about *something*, it was a bit strange

Another great show! First saw Napalm Death live in 1992 (as an opening band along with Sacred Reich and Sick of it All for Sepultura on the Arise tour). The old bastards still rip it up something fierce these days!!!

HA! Was at this show too (referring to your video on DRI in Wellington)! Was first time that I had the chance to see Dave Lombardo live! Dave, Mike, and Scott are three total icons (no offense to Trey and Trevor who are also great). Wish they would have brought Buzzo out and done some Fantomas stuff too!!!

Yeah, that was my first Lombardo experience too. As great as Trey is, I chose the right side of the stage so I could watch Scott play.

Was at the show and have seen DRI many many times over the past 35 years (didn't always live in NZ) . It was nice to see that Kurt Brecht still hangs out in the crowd during the opening bands. Back in 1987 he took the time to chat to a bunch of 15 year old fans (i.e., me and my friends) at a show and he's still out there being a fan. I will say that I found Bulletbelt to be a strange choice for an opening act given other NZ punk & hXc options (especially coming just a couple of days after the end of Camp A Low Hum when many bands were around the Wellington region).

I could be completely wrong, but I was under the impression BB played a big part in getting DRI over here. No point booking a gig and not playing it yourself ;) Yeah I spotted Kurt in the audience, it's great that he still makes the effort.

Umos was cool, I'm pretty sure hardly anyone knew who the fuck they were though. Sciolism surprised me that was ruthless and behemoth I have no words! Isnane

I only took photos during Di'Anno's set. Really wasn't expecting the video to turn out any good, now I'm kinda wishing I'd recorded more of the show.
