I saw this film when I was a little boy and I loved it! Now as a father I still love it and children love it just the same. It’s a perfect hidden gem. Robin Williams & Shelley Duvall were amazing in it!

I love this movie. Its imagery is great, evoking the comfort of golden age 50s star fields and set designs - the lower deck of the Jupiter II is mesmerizing to look at! It's too bad it's such a missed opportunity.

6:28 Bennett the sage happens to be from my hometown of Santa Rosa of which I still live in. Therefore making him the biggest KZbinr from Santa Rosa. Yep sadly it's not me. Not even close.😂 For some reason I have never watched Ben at the stage though. Maybe I just am not really into what he posts I think it's like comic book or manga stuff I forget. I'm not going to reveal the guy's name but A friend of mine made a really bad call in this decision and I mean really really really bad. I think he's learned his lesson from it because he hasn't done anything this stupid again and he's honestly genuinely a good guy he just was being a total idiot and unintentionally being a creep. This friend of mine apparently actually found the home of Bennett the sage. I know he lives in Santa Rosa but I don't know where he lives and I have no intention to finding out. Just going up to some person's home like that it's just not okay. Fortunately that has never happened to me. Then again the vast majority of my content I don't even show my face on.

I mean I guess I could see why people didn't like this film but I remember enjoying it when I saw in theaters and it's a film I would continue to watch again. I saw it at home a few times after all though it's been a long time since the last time I watched it. I also love your use of that epic song that's used in so many videos of racing bar charts. I forgot the name of the song but I recognize it as I've used it before and I remember hearing it a lot on the Data is Beautiful channel that for some reason isn't around anymore.

I've seen a lot of reviews on this Movie, & everyone else pretty much word for word says the same thing as the OTHERS before them, BUT YOU explained it in such a unique, & creative way, that I was absolutely impressed with! And like Jesse "The Body" Ventura says "I DON'T IMPRESS EASY!" But sincerely excellent job Buddy, & the song at the end was PHENOMENAL! "I'VE BEEN PLAYING GUITAR, BASS, SINGING, & PERFORMING FOR 30 YEARS NOW, SO I AM NOT JUST "BLOWING YA DOWN" as Popeye would say!🤣 SO Thank You, I'm going to watch POPEYE ⚓😉🥫🐙🛟🛞👁️🗨️🏴☠️🛶🍔🧺🫛👶🏾 I THINK I HAVE EVERY STEREOTYPICAL EMOJI I COULD FIND TO REPRESENT THE MOVIE!🤣 CHEERS!🇦🇲🎙️💪🏾

The movie wasn't a homage. It was a direct sequel to the 2nd movie as if Superman III and IV hadn't happened. Brandon Routh's superman /is/ the same superman as Reeve's.
@DisJunkPICTURES3 ай бұрын
Obviously it was meant as a sequel, since he -Returns- but this is a whole different cast. It's a "legacy sequel": a late sequel that pays homage to what came before whilst refreshing things a little bit for a new audience.

"MADAME WEB: Sony's best WORST movie?" Fixed it for ya.
@DisJunkPICTURES3 ай бұрын
How did you fix it? It's a Marvel movie. I'm talking about Marvel movies overall in the video, not only Sony's Marvel films.
@yondie4913 ай бұрын
@@DisJunkPICTURES The setting is Marvel. "Marvel's best" is possessive. Meaning ownership. Meaning the movie is from/by Marvel. Marvel does not own Madame Web. Marvel did not make Madame Web. The SETTING is an adjective, not a possessor. If I made a video about this video, it would be about DisJuntPICTURE. If I referred to the video I made as "DisJuntPICTURE's dumbest video" meaning "the dumbest video about DisJuntPICTURE" you'd agree that's wrong, would you not? Marvel is the name of a studio that creates, among other things, movies. If you asked 100 randos what "Marvel's worst movie" meant, most would agree that it meant "worst movie BY Marvel" If you said "Who made 'Marvel's worst movie'?" most people would presume the ONLY possible answer is "Marvel made it" because... well... duh. Don't get me wrong. The clickbait worked as intended. Kudos to you... unless longevity and integrity is what you're lookin for. Marvel has made a TON of shitty movies. No need to assign Sony's shittiness to Marvel. They're more than capable of their own shittiness. (I did upvote your comment cuz it made me giggle... and you're welcome for the two-time engagement... good luck w/ your channel)

What can you say about a movie where King Kong battles Doctor Who! It almost sounds like a plot from the classic BBC series. In fact, I think it WAS! Paul Frees overdubbed all the male Japanese actors, and the only one who was required at the voiceover session was Rhodes Reason himself. Frees allegedly told Reason, "I don't know why you're here. I can probably do you better than you can do you." Frees was definitely proud of his talent -- and he was probably right anyway. 🤣🤣

I was always fascinated by the makeup of Bernadette Peters and Andy Kaufman in Heartbeeps. Certainly is better than Bicentennial Man, which I loathed. THAT costume always got in the way, and kept reminding me of 40s scifi robots working for Bela Lugosi. Heartbeeps did not for some reason, and though this film was never really a favorite of mine (mostly because Andy Kaufman could be very hard to take), I did appreciate where it seemed to be going. Really, it's a day in the life more than anything else, and if you aren't expecting more, you can have a great time with the film. Thanks for your comments!

Thank you for your awesome critique of one of my very favorite movies of all time. And lest you think I'm just a lover of goofy movies...my other most favorite movie is Sleeping With The Enemy. I first rented this movie when my kids were small in the early 90's. My sons now have kids of their own but we still quote lines from this movie to each other like, "I'm an exact change tax man" and sing lyrics from those wonderful songs like they were brand new (and in a way they are). As I get older, I realize that this treasure of a movie is to be savored like fine wine but not held for special occasions. It gets sweeter, more adorable, charming, and hilarious with each passing year. Thanks again for your true appreciation of this wonderful, iconic movie.

its like a weird D&D table top campaign, between serious Rp'ers, min/maxer, "serious" joke characters, regular joke characters for a one shot, and a couple new players who managed to stumble their way into not dying to random mistakes they werent even aware of for game mechanics.

I didn’t like this movie that much. The plot felt very stretched out with bad pacing and very few laughs. There were so many scenes that just felt pointless and meandering. I was very entertained by how silly it was, but the overall film wasn’t a satisfying experience. This was the first Pee-Wee Herman thing I’ve seen(unless you count the crack PSA and the Mr. Ogg TMNT episode), so maybe I should’ve started with the TV series. I might watch more Pee-Wee productions, but I’m hesitant to do so. There are definitely lots of good elements, but I’m more likely to remember random set pieces and lines, rather than the actual film itself.
