You're destroying more of the natural fossil history than salvaging some for your collection. Since you have collected so many are you opening these with a view to selling them?
@holdernessfossilsАй бұрын
I'm not destroying more than I collect.

Coastal protection act 1949. States it is illegal to remove any pebbles or sand from any beaches. Post you address for imminent proscecution,

Is it not illegal to remove pebbles from the beach and to aid the erosion of cliffs.
@holdernessfossils2 ай бұрын
This does not help nor hinder coastal erosion, I barely touched the cliffs, and took a handful of rocks off a public beach. Nothing illegal about it

Thank you for watching, it's defo not a tenni due to the matrix it's in, this isn't a gray shales nodule, more likely to be a zugo if anything 😊

Was a great day. The other way the day before I was the one who found a frechiella subcarinata. I cant wait to see how the large Harpo preps out. I have a Cleviceras that had a black spot like that harpo. When i accidentally broke the nodule i could see the side withbthe spot was crushed, but other side was not crushed and Mark Kemp prepped it out. It turned out really nice in the end. At the time is was my best find
@holdernessfossils7 ай бұрын
It was a brilliant day, I thoroughly enjoyed it and that ammonite you found was lovley, I was shattered as I walked a hell of a way😅, I have prepped the harpo and its not the best news but I'll post it at some point soon
@aaronclark88777 ай бұрын
@@holdernessfossils can't wait to see it. Yes i was a lucky bugger finding the FS, it is my best find for sure... I did the walk you did about 8mths earlier but went much further around. I found a small cannonball nodule with a small Eleganicera in it. It has a lot of bore holes in it. On the way back I found a huge dactylioceras nodule in the mud slide and when I cracked it open was full of the ammonite.
