Yes it is! I bought it as a rod and reel combo for like $80, and I tell you what, it's worth EVERY PENNY! Love that thing!

It really depends on what I'm fishing for, but in this short I am using my Lew's Speed Stick IM6 with the medium action, and just throwing a red lipless crankbait!

I do it for the quiet alone time. Most times I just go out with a bober and weight, no hook. I wasn't going to catch anything anyways and now I don't need to spend hundreds of dollars on tackle that doesn't work or have to own/provide a sportsman's license. 😂
