I made a baby blanket with this yarn. It was beautiful to work with and did not split. The best part is the little girl I made it for can’t go anywhere without it. I am now going to make a cardigan with this same yarn for her. The blanket has been washed many many times over the past two years.

With me not being Neuro typical, it hard for me to comprehend certain things pattern, and directions. I get confused when someone says for example, “for this pattern, it’s in multiples of 4+1” does that mean I can chain 4 as many times as I need to make my chain the length I need it? And is it 4+1 with every chain, or is the +1 only at the end? Thanks for any help.

This yarn SUCKS!!! They don't leave the end to pull from the middle and I spent HOURS unknotting all my yarn balls and re-rolling them. Never again will I buy this brand! PLUS - the yarn splits every single stitch!

Thank you for this great comparison; I was hoping someone would do this type of video. I just bought Ice Yarn Saver and Favorite. Saver is a great yarn; I noticed that it’s similar to Premier Basix and Michaels Craft Smart. So far, Favorite is preferred yarn. It’s so soft and just a pleasure to crochet with. Hope you do another comparison video!

Thanks for the review. I pulled out four skeins I had gotten on clearance awhile back. Saw the hand wash and thought I'll check to see who has washed it. Can't imagine too many people hand washing a large baby blanket, not me anyway! Also will use a G hook, thanks. Saw a review that it tangled a lot when pulled from the center, you didn't seem to have that issue. Not sure I'll chance it as I dislike untangling thin yarn!!!

Nice sale!! Pound of Love is wonderful for all year (except maybe the coldest winter). I love the color Denim. It’s an awesome yarn for sweaters. It’s great because you don’t have so many ends to worry about.
