I am very, very, very disappointed The Winnipeg Sun became a broadsheet today. I read the Sun on my lunch break at work. There are two little tables together in the lunchroom, with stuff on them. I can't possibly spread out a broadsheet on these tables, especially when someone else is at one of the seats. For sure I'll have to remove the stuff on the tables. I don't know what I'm going to do. There won't even be room for my own lunch. I guess I'll have to piss everyone off in some form, with this big, sprawling newspaper. And the paper is too big to spread out once a week at McDonald's or Burger King, too. Please cancel this horrible, terrible idea immediately and return to your tabloid format. Oh, and where were the entertainment stories in today's edition? I couldn't find any. WTF?!?!

It is strange that the Jets' powerplay is not producing more goals because in 5 on 5 play they move around as if they had a man advantage. I really like the strong fore check that the Jets play. So many times it results in the other team not being able to get set up and/or make an effective entry into the Jets zone, and then there are the occasional steals that will happen when a team is constantly going after the player with the puck and even chasing behind the net. It is great hockey to watch and it is great to see it working so well for the the Jets!

With Connor coming back soon and everything clicking like a clock, one has to wonder if this lineup needs any help. From locker room poison in the past to sweet sugar magic today, the Jets have it going on. If they keep it up, playing for each other as a team, they have the potential to win it all.
