Discipline means structure, life needs structure. If you are not disciplined it means you do not have structure and if you do not have structure at this point in your life, wait until you are out of school and you start the full load of adult life, ie working, professional development, paying bills, dating/relationships and marriage, if you choose to. There are countless videos on TikTok of people who are crying and being overwhelmed with work-life balance. A lot of them stem from self-sabotage. You are still young so get hold of it…it doesn’t get any better from here.

Lollll, I never made it entirely clear, but this video helps heal my inner child because baby Aziamel was shy, she stayed to herself and couldn’t possibly imagine us doing all that we’re doing now (talking to new people, making ourselves uncomfortable, surpassing my family’s stereotypes) and THAT is what is exciting. I was listening to this as a podcast while on my afternoon walk and man have I been in the same boat since I graduated in May! It’s hard getting a job, and with a lack of routine I feel my mental health getting worse some days. But God is good and he will always provide we just gotta remember it’s on his timing.
