Love your podcast. It’s like sitting down with a friend, a soda on the table and I am knitting away on my sweater vest. It’s not filled with colorwork and yours is gorgeous. The outside noise didn’t bother me as I love the windows up and it’s just part of life.

I would love wooden buttons on your cabled cardigan. Also I get that the vibe of your striped sweater isn’t what you had in mind, but the drape on it is perfect!

The red colourwork on the vest does look like a fancy rug but I love it too 😅💖 it would look amazing in a sweater 😱 maybe it doesn’t have to be aaaaaall over colourwork, just like more? 😅 maybe combined with some cables and moss stitch? I‘m visioning a mix between the colourwork from the vest and the textures from your cardigan. Not sure how to pull this off though 😅🫣

The cable cardigan is very pretty 💖 you could do gold buttons as you said, or mother of pearl could match very pretty I imagine, or I personally probably would do something with a bit of colour (I’m thinking fake glass, a little see-through but in a "milky“ way, mother of pearl-ish) maybe in a blue-ish purple could match the off-white of the cardigan well, or I personally probably would go muted or autumny rainbow as I am very bad with making decisions 😂 or you could also do wood, basically you can do whatever you heart desired 💖

Beautiful projects. I recently knit the Colette Tee. It was a good balance of easy and interesting. You’re right that the cables aren’t hard at all. I think I don’t love the eyelets. I wonder what I could use instead if I go ahead to knit the pullover. Bobbles? Not as frequent as the eyelets though. 😜

The vest will look amazing as a vest and it would look amazing as a sweater, maybe with longer cuffs with the colorwork to tie it all together? No matter what, this piece already looks amazing! 💖

This may sound bizarre but you have such a 1940’s vibe to me for some reason. I think the first video of yours I saw (ep 12) had your hair styled in what looked like that 40’s, 50’s bob and it got stuck in my brain. I keep thinking Audrey Meadows. Love the color work I’m in the middle of my first (porcelain yolk sweater ) and thought it was going to kill me. That test knit is stunning.

Aahhh, your Lillehammer looks so good already! I've never been really drawn to knitting with grey and white at the same time, but I might just give it a try next time. Drops Lima is one of my favourite yarns so far to do colourwork with, because it just looks so damn good. I don't know what it is about it, but it just seems to work (not to mention I have another colourwork garment/pattern made with Lima on the needle). I also found that knitting colourwork in the round makes for much neater looking garments and that's why I use steeking in the pattern. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing your progress with the pullover and if you have any questions about steeking, please ask me! :D

Maybe you already figured out your colour season, but you were asking for opinions, and I was already trying to figure it out too, so now it is almost like a challenge for me 😅 I just today found your channel, watched all you made in 2023, and two podcasts, so I don't know you well yet, maybe by reaching more current videos, I will have a better answer, but I was thinking, that greens look so amazing with your eyes. The sweater you are wearing has to be in your colour pallet, I felt like green yarn you were thinking of starting lacy cardigan was also really nice against your face, as well as that bit darker green, sweater with SSS motives, where color way might be discontinued. Greens really compliment your eyes. 😄

There is no way I should comment on everything I want to, but orange is my favorite color ever and despite the fact that I already have several sweater quantities, I ordered De Rerum Natura Ulysse in Potimarron, which just arrived (yay!) to knit the new Kip Sweater pattern by Rebecca Clow of CreaBea, and though I know it's not on yourl list, I'm wondering if you saw it because all the orange and the TEXTURE. It's next up when I get these two other jumpers off the needles. I think if you held a lace-weight with that burnt orange, you could make it work. If not, burnt orange is a neutral so far as I'm concerned. Do what feels good!

It would be really helpful for me if you talked about the construction of the patterns too. Is it top down, seamless, etc? Or something like: you start by knitting the back yolk and do increases for the shoulders. Then you pick up stitches for the front, join in the round after the armholes, etc. otherwise this was great, I love your energy!
