I do feel too much has been done to it and I would love to have seen it in its natural state. Old worlde charm is what it would have had not modern elements.

Hi Trudie, I love the olde world charm too - and particularly love the ancient salt box cupboard by the fire. I feel the later additions to the home bring the creature comforts so many buyers are looking for these days.

Well is this was up for sale in 5 years time I would buy it in a heartbeat. I grew up in Gretton and used to nanny for the family that owned it 30 years ago. Just not quite ready to give up my real estate career in Vancouver 🇨🇦 just yet!

What a lovely home. I always enjoy Lottie's tours of these homes. The only thing I don't care for is the slow motion-fast motion sections with Lottie walking. They are kind of awkward.

Bold blue is a bold choice for kitchen cabinets, but it really works nicely here. I also like the use of color in the reception rooms. Lovely home.

I like that you make absolutely no reference to the fact this home has mini splits (Mitsubishi ones no less!) installed, offering heating and cooling - a HUGE bonus - yet, you don't mention it once. Insane.

This home has so many wonderful architectural features and attributes, it's hard to include everything in my property tour, which are primarily used by our buyers to understand the flow of the home and the setting. The full details for Lock House are included within the link on my listing, where the finer points such as heating type and a/c are provided. Personally, I thought I'd done a pretty good job at highlighting how wonderful it would be to live there. Lottie.
