Hello you three! Awesome work. We have a near identical van to yours and are departing later this year for at least two years with hopefully a lot of off grid camping. Just wondering about your off grid setup especially with aircon. The ecoflow delta can power it up ok and you have no issue recharging it? TIA

Have you thought about swapping out your rims for 16" or 17" ? It would help big time on sand.

Excellent technical effort Sarah!, I'm an electrician by trade and you did great! I've just upgraded my Kimberley Kampers Karavan original batteries from the worn out 4 x 110ah lithiums to twin 300ah Enerdrive lithium's plus a 50amp dc to dc charger so I can pull 50 amps of charging current from my Landcruiser when driving. My 2015 Karavan came with an Enerdrive Combi which is a 120amp battery charger and a 3000 watt invertor So I can run my Split system Air Conditioner easily for a long time. I test ran it flat out for an hour and only dropped 25% of battery capacity, and my bread maker as I don't drink coffee. So I have my vice of fresh bread! and not coffee. I have 700 wats of solar on my karavan So my generator will only be used if fails, or I have a long run of bad weather or stay in one spot under a tree for a long time. i do have a lot of loads though with satellite tv, Diesel Hot water, Twin fridges. Hot and cold running water. When you have the chance can you do a video on your starlink system with all the costs and where you bought it from and your experiences with using it please. thanks heaps. I turn 60 next month so I can access my super and once my apprentice achieves his licence in July/August next year I'll be joining you traveling permanently on the road but unfortunately in solo mode. Had no luck with the ladies No matter what I do. my 2 children are adults and in their own places. So, I'll have my Hobie adventure island on top of my Landcruiser which is a 5m tri hull kayak that you can peddle, paddle or sail and fish from. but I love your tinny setup that I may migrate to once my Hobie wears out. I already have a boat drivers' licence. Kind regards, Michael. you are always welcome to contact me if you have electrical issues that you want some advice on.

Howdy from Texas. I too have the river pro with the extension battery. Your river pro will put out the 600 watts because what it does is use the boost mode which might be on in your battery. I must warn you that the appliances you run may eventually get ruined because the boost app on the river pro lowers the voltage. That is why some of your appliances might take longer to heat up your coffee or make your toast or fry your eggs. and bacon. So be careful. I'm an ecoflow fanatic and I just bought the delta 2 that has 1042 watts of capacity and a massive 1800 watt inverter . During prime time this delta 2 would run your appliance without any danger of ruining them. If you wait to buy during prime time I bought my delta 2 for only $679 U.S. Cheers mate.

Katherine Farmstay is an awesome little stop and the Katherine hot springs were our favourite out of all of them I think - (Bitter Springs were lovely but we were a bit nervous because they had only just reopened post croc sighting when we were there😮)

I'm very pleased that you're being croc smart. Unfortunately I think it will take a serious incident for tourists to stop being blase about crocs and respect them. A big wet gets them moving and so called salties can turn up anywhere. They simply aren't restricted to estuaries and salt water. Take care and continued safe travels.

Cheers for watching 👍yeah they are definitely something to be cautious of!
