Thank you for posting this video. After seeing it we booked this cabin (but on the Oosterdam) for next summer and booked this actual cabin in 2026. 🙂

@todddoster6487 I am curious about the smoking area, I just looked at the deck plans and its a private sun deck above it. I am very interested in this room, but not if I have to smell smoke the whole time :/

Honestly, I spent a lot of time on balcony, did not have any issue with the smell of smoke

I will be in 5191 (opposite side) for my 11 Night Windward and Leeward Islands cruise in March 2026. I have 3 cruises booked on Celebrity before that. But that will be my first on Holland America. Hi from Bob in Connecticut

Yes, you have a Butler, ours was Bernie, great guy did a fantastic job!! All haven rooms have a butler

Stayed in this cabin in October out of Southampton. Great cabin and the staff was fantastic. What I didn't like was that the smoking area was just above this cabin, so we had a difficult time sitting on the deck on nice days. Unlike the Jewell Class forward facing cabin we sailed on just prior to this cruise, the space could be used at any point. Highlight of this cabin was the picking up and dropping off of the pilots via helicopter, felt you could reach out and touch them.

A really nice layout of accommodation. Great space and storage. Perfect for a long voyage. Totally love that desk with the window, and that incredible balcony. Thanks for showing us this sweet suite!

We would happily take that obstructed view cabin, because like you say, you can still get that ocean view. When you're seated on that balcony and staring out and feeling those warm breezes, those lifeboats will magically become invisible 😃

If I remember correctly there are some free movies to watch on their channels

@@travelswithannes I think most cruise lines have free movies on their tvs. I have been on 2 Disney and 1 Viking there were free movies in room on both. I have 2 Holland America cruises coming up.

@@HollyPlake you are right, most suites on cruise lines do have free movies on their tvs, but this is only in the suite category

Really don't like the fish-eye lens. It doesn't add anything, and the distortion only detracts from how things actually look.
