This is great! Does anyone know exactly how many beats per minute this is played at. I want to set the metronome and play this tune! Any accurate help would be extremely appreciated!

I feel exactly the same about the copper vs onyx. Copper is incredibly easy to play with a nice sound, it's so reactive.

There's now a fibrereed copper. I find it very easy to play and nice sound. Similar to the onyx but just a hint better.

Imagine the amount of work you would have gotten if you lived back then. You have the right gruff sound. Very nice.😊

Unfortunetely sax is not designed for rock without sounding like blues/jazz. With very few rare stellar hits like yakety sax, urgent, old time rock and roll and few others. But thats exception not the norm. Once you start to emulate or cover other songs becomes pretty obvious that you gasp for air. Start to struggle. Scratch hands, massage head etc. Sax requires lots and lots of air. Even background assisting music cant compensate the gaps. If the song is way faster. Of high dynamic range. Too much high low moments. Too much jumping. In fact other than yakety sax pretty much no other song has jumping at saxophone. Even Urgent has 2-3 jumps at most. Too dificult for sax to handle without sound like karaoke. Try for example to cover star wars empirial march. Joe Cocker - You can leave your hat on. Sax solo way too dificult. If are 7-8 saxophone players to fill each others gaps and everone play its part in snchronization with others. Saxophone orchestra.

Excelente tocada. Esses arranjos, para mim, são difíceis de fazer. Por favor, por um acaso você teria a partitura dessa música? Parabéns.

Jimmy Smith's Back At The Chicken Shack is my favorite song. And this version is faster and more upbeat, but wonderful to listen to. Definitely saving this.

Thanks to this man I learned how to play with a back track. He is a genius, only second to Zappacosta, in terms of musical skill level. He has a canonic approach to teaching the blues, rock, and pop. He deserves an honorary doctorates. I have learned so much from his nearly 250 songs.

Thanks so much for the great explanation, yes I miss steps off the chromatic scales in the fall offs. I need to go back to practising them slow.
