Carnival Knows How to Throw a SailAway Party indeed!

Hey Nettie and JT, We had to leave the rooms by 7:30, not the ship. We got off the ship around 10:30, because our train did not leave until 3pm. Brooklyn Pier was pretty smooth getting a Taxi. We all had the Go On Home Now- Blues.

It was our 1st time leaving out of the Port in Brooklyn, so we arrive an hour early, waited a few minutes on the Benches just outside the building where the Taxi's pick up. Then went inside.

Just an FYI- today at 1pm Eastern our Return to Brooklyn Video is Scheduled . Going under the Bridge at 5:15 am and the Debarkation Process. Thanks for Subscribing and Watching.

We we're on Virgin Voyages for this trip. They docked in the port at Cozumel. We did not go to Playa del Carmen, but some people in our group went, and it's about a 45 minute trip from that port. This is why we chose to go to a closer beach. (Tequila Beach) It was small and family owned, and it was relaxing.

@@TravelCakeTrips Thanks so much for the info. My partner is a amputee just below the knee and in a wheelchair, We are hoping for a prosthetic by April, but I plan way ahead. There's no way we'd try the ferry with the wheelchair and so much others isn't accessible either. Thank you for the answer. If I know for sure where we dock, I can see what shops restaurants etc are there. And the listing says the Playa del, but I didn't know where the actually concrete dock to get off the ship was located.

@@vahosemanWe would advise, since you are planning ahead which is great, researching wheelchair accessible beaches and/or excursions. Also call the cruise line directly and explain your situation and needs and ask where exactly they will be docking. Planning ahead is the right thing to do. Thanks for noticing , LOL have to catch those fun moments. On Our Carnival Mardi Gras, Bryant was the only one that yelled out " Gangum Style" It was Hilarious and such a Fun time. We singled that out on that video as well.

@@BrewerWay Sorry it took a minute to get back to you, but we had to brainstorm the ships we have been on to give you our best reply. We enjoyed the Carnival Breeze and Carnival Dream as smaller ships. These we would recommend to take 1st time Cruisers on and for Family Relaxation. For Ships that will provide lots of fun and Great Content- Carnival Mardi Gras is one we have been on and can recommend. That said, the Carnival Jubilee and Celebration are sister ships to the Mardi Gras, and although we have not been on those 2 yet, we venture to say they are just as good. If you go on one of the Bigger Ships first, you may get spoiled. LOL Side Note: If you have never been on Virgin Voyages, we have been on the Valiant Lady and it is very relaxing, has great food, entertainment and planned party events. Whatever you chose, remember - The Company you keep, makes the trip a good time. Safe Travels

@@TravelCakeTrips Thanks for the info! We will be cruising on the Valiant Lady in about 2 weeks! Cant wait! We are taking a European cruise next year. Hopefully we can squeeze another cruise in before then. Maybe we will look at Carnival.
