@@LorusHeresy If you like the Imperial Fists, then a surprisingly good novel to read is ‘Legion of the Damned’. The Legion of the Damned are important to the plot, but are absent for most of the story; so the focus is on an Imperial Fists First Founding Successor Chapter called the Excoriators - with a handful of other sons of Dorn featuring briefly.

From even a Necron incursion. And a C'tan shard. Purely lazy writing.

@@LorusHeresy Same, new here, learning some and watching Titus battle ferocious beasts. Space Marines seem extremely powerful and loyal to one another and seem to push emotions to the side and stay highly focused.

Space Marines are raised under extreme stress and fear, to help them manage future situations. Their ability to “Push emotions to the side” is what makes them so unique and helps them fight against mind controlling creatures that feed on humans fear and weakneses.

Hi ✊️ Since Magnus the Red was the legion's forefather, is there a human form under the armor? I'm asking because in SM2 you can't see their blood and their bodies disintegrate after death. This is a technical question because I can't find this information anywhere and I'm in the process of building a diorama and I'm wondering if I can paint blood on the armor of fallen legionnaires.

Magnus the Red was originally Primarch created by The Emperor himself, which means his body was human-like with imbued extraordinary properties, including resilience and enhanced healing. After being corrupted by Chaos, Magnus still has blood flowing in his body. However its not "human" anymore. So answer to your question is - Yes, you can paint your desired bloodbath 🩸

The Thousand Sons Marines themselves have no physical flesh and blood bodies, they are souls bonded to the fused and sealed armor. Their bodies were turned to dust inside the armor, yet their souls remained.
