So 3 years on, you certainly have a lot more experience with the tool than you did before. Let me ask you, what type of paints have you been able to use it with(only water based)? Also, did you have to dilute the paints more than the factory specification? If you can answer, I would really appreciate it!

He's using a dull blade and it also does not appear to be the Black and Decker OEM blade for it.. I made a fence this summer with it from bulk purchase boards and it ripped and cross cut 3/4 pine easily.

I guess two things I noticed. 1, You didn't filter the paint for any particulates and you didn't thin it 10% I'm assumingthat these don't need to be done no??

If you have a ceiling with wood that has lots of lines and ledges then its easier with a sprayer...

Im procrastinating between this and true coat 360 spray gun to paint a 750 sq ft fence. Its about a $100 difference, obviously the magnum being more expensive. Its not so much about the money. Mostly dont know if this device is overkill vs the 360 spray gun.

You can use the saw one handed if you use your index finger on the safety switch and middle finger on the trigger.

Apparently it’s a 800rpm motor , can it be upgraded with a faster one e.g. 2000 or more rpm ?

even one of 5000rpm, or almost any dewalt brand (remember that dewalt makes the motors for B&D), but my question here is if it is possible to disassemble the pinion to put it into the new motor and if the matrix modules will hold that amount of rpm, I have a feeling that easily 1500 if it holds but more than that I don't think so.

In an ideal scenario, a (solid) hexagon is formed by 6 identical equilateral triangles. Each angle/corner of each triangle is 60°. The corner of each piece of wood is 90°, therefore it needs to cut at 30° to leave a 60° corner.

Octagon angle calculator: 360 / number of sides / 2 - 360/8/2 = 22.5 | Hexagon 360/6/2 = 30 Do this for any shape you want to miter.

Actually they are both 18 V in Europe and in Usa but in Europe theY use the nominal voltage and in Usa the max fully charged voltage . Its a marketing thing
