I didn't find this video of much help to me. THANK YOU! I have been trying really hard to identify the bentgrass in my lawn, and I have watched at least a dozen videos trying to figure it out. Most of them just focus on a few features, and I have found that it isn't enough information. Your video, on the other hand, included several "off the cuff" tidbits that were really helpful. The fact that this grass was once considered desirable is a good clue, that it often looks dead when the grass around it looks fine, and the details you gave about the abundant thatch and "witches brooms" really sealed the deal. Some people may complain that your videos are not flashy and slickly produced, but the content is excellent and very helpful. p.s. Is it unusual for bentgrass to have some purple on the stems? Could this be a different variety of bentgrass, or possibly a nutrient deficiency?
