As much respect as I have for all the musicians, Kayo Dot kust isn't as impactful musically as Maudlin of the Well was. Had the style of Maudlin of the Well (Circa 2001) would have been kept going they would have easily booked big festivals and tours.

Tygers of Pan Tang was my favorite band after I discovered them at Music Millennium - Portland Oregon - in the Metal Import section in the early 80s. Crazy nights and Spellbound were my favorite albums. I lost track after the Cage album then rediscovered them again when Ritual came out. I love Ritual and the New Lineup is so awesome. These ancient Blokes rock like their in their early 20s.

Massively underrated band and guitarist , Wild Cat , Crazy Nights and Spellbound are classics . Great interview with one of the NWOBHM gods BTW . All of the latter Tygers albums are top notch too .
