I’m really struggling with my music gcses right now. It’s like music is such a passion for me, I play two instruments piano and guitar and I really really love it. So because of it I just decided to join music gcse without any prior knowledge of how difficult the course is. So I have a really talented teacher but I think he’s used to teaching really talented students too, who just understand.. but I’m not like that. I can play instruments without any theory and that’s just about it.. so when I’m lost and I don’t understand something, which is a lot of the time he makes me feel like an absolute idiot. And recently I’m in a class of two other students, so we’re only three now and they are all very smart while I’m just me? Like this one guy, he’s a new Student. He plays piano marvelously and he really knows his theory and the other girl is pretty much a prodigy, so just imagine that space. I’m like a person who just likes instruments who never knows what’s going on while it just clicks for them. I hate it and music gcse has made me hate music, I wish I knew what I was getting myself into before. I feel so stupid too all the time and don’t get me started on how much I do actually try for music like it’s pretty much all I do all the time!! But I still don’t get what’s going on. It is a whole different language in my head and it is like I’m seeing gibberish on paper you know. Why does it make so much sense for them but not for me? It is something I really love but it is something I know I can never pursue

I felt exactly the same in school, I'm so happy you made this video exposing our terrible 'education' system. I was desperate at maths and Irish so ordinary was the way to go for LC,but I worked hard at my other subjects and I got over 500 points.I was only able to do this after I stopped listening to negative people.

To be honest I can see why lots of Irish children have mental health problems. There seriously needs to be a reformation of our education system. Brilliant video, you are a beautiful soul ❤️

hi, just a warning with spf in make up products, you need to apply half a teaspoon for the face to get the full spf, which is a lot of make-up/primer, spf in make-up/primer is a nice extra it not sufficient for full spf protection

Excellent video very true ! I’m in 6th year and I’m finding it extremely stressful . I’ve always struggled with higher maths and am planning to change to ordinary soon but I’m concerned that I’ll have no fall back 7th subject now , only 6 ( if something goes wrong in another subject on the day )

Thank you so much 💕 I know its so hard and the stress can be too much. But I do think if you are struggling with maths, and if you drop to pass the good thing about that is you will have more time and energy to focus on your other subjects and therefore will bring them up! I hated exams I couldn't perform well in tests . I have Dyspraxia so went through all this in some classes I felt so useless compared to others so wasn't academic maths was my worst subject and I use to have odd problems like that with the homework luckily I had 2 very good teaching assistants who would help me . It is so true I felt awful if I didn't understand something luckily talking to people teachers I got on with helped but it can be stressful

I have dyspraxia as Well so trust me I know what you mean! It's so hard and schools don't do enough to help with it. I'm glad you managed okay and thanks for your comment

@@fionamcnamara3462 I felt very embarrassed at times needing the TA sat next to me in class . I liked to try and be independent would try to sometimes get them to leave me let me try to get on and ask for help when needed . Some teachers got me and my Dyspraxia others didn't one of my old geography teachers she just didn't like me would tell me off for everything and anything make me uncomfortable

I think study all along casually, like for your tests and stuff! I didn't start properly studying until November of leaving cert! Everyone is different though
