It does sound like a perfect bounce back game for the Jags. I do feel the Colts can win this if the backups play better than expected and the Jags continue with chaos. I do want to see Richardson play because he just needs the time on the field. With JT dealing with that high sprain will he be 100% and if not more of a case to go heavy passing and Flacco might be a better choice just this time. Toss up game to me.

Joe Flacco always did play well against my Steelers. Good game plan and execution Colts. From start to finish. Even tho we had a lot of fans there, it's still hard to win in Indy. Is Flacco the QB to get the Colts into the playoffs, like he did with Cleveland? Im thinking the Browns should have gave Flacco DW's contract. Lol

Flacco isn't the future of the franchise so if AR is healthy enough to play he needs to be playing. Maybe he is injury prone maybe he isn't but he is the potential franchise qb1 so we need to find out if he is the guy for the long term or not. He absolutely needs to work with the short to intermediate routes but if he can figure that out and stay healthy lookout. Gus's defensive scheme and play calling still sucks and is just to conservative. I like a lot of our defensive players but absolutely HATE the soft scheme. Sometimes experts are right and sometimes they are wrong but it is looking like this time maybe they were right with AD and he dropped for a reason. Yes the potential is there but maybe getting him in the second wasn't a steal after all. He absolutely needs time to come along but that hype train has stopped. Mat Gay from 50+ is 0-2 this season was 8-13 last season and 25-38 for his career. Cutting him this season would be @10 million in dead cap with a loss of @ 4 million according to over the cap so sadly he is probably sticking around at least for this season. I would still bring in someone else and just leave him inactive every week he has sucked.

I'll say it. AD Mitchell is afraid of getting hit. He sees a defender coming, and he backs off his route. That's why the passes are missing him by so much. On other notes... I was talking to a friend at work last week about how AR was having so many bad misses. I said AR was missing passes when he was trying to put touch on the pass, instead of just firing bullets at guy 5 yards away. Then when he was talking to the media early in the week it sounded to me like he said "yeah I know I'm missing passes because I'm trying to put touch on the pass, so I'm going back to throwing bullets all the time instead of trying to put touch on it". Those were not his exact words obviously, that is just the impression I got. Then he comes out this game, and he wasn't trying any more touch passes, he was just throwing bullets, and his accuracy was dead on. So I think AR is just going to try developing his touch passes only in practice for now on until he has it down, instead of trying to use touch passes in live games. Oh and also, our run game went to shit after AR went out. We need AR back in there just so we can have the threat of AR running in order for our run game to work right.

Joe Flacco is the backup. Look how well JT was running while AR was in the game. AR makes the offense so much more dynamic. I think if the game was close then Steichen would have considered putting AR back in the game. AD Mitchell doesn't seem to be on the same page with either QB.

I don't know why they're trying to make Richardson a pocket passer... last season he used his legs way more.. they need to let him be him instead of trying to protect him... they need to let him use his legs more, especially this Sunday if we actually want a chance to win this game... last season, we called more QB runs in one game than we have all season thus far ... stop trying to make him something he's not... when he missed that pass to MPJ last week, it was because he was thinking too much... last year, he would've tucked the football and ran it for a 20+ yard pickup... let him be a dual threat QB. If not, you should've traded up for CJ Stroud..
