Mark Twain I believe had unwittingly described the future Soviet Union and Red China in their iron fisted terrorization of their peasant populous.

Not entirely correct and there are errors here, but no one knows how to define poetry perfectly, except God. But a great point Poe made was concerning the length of a poem. I have learned that there are no poems that exist that are over 3,000 words long. There are a few that are over 2,000 words long. All the said great poems that are over 3,000 words long are not really poems. They fail as poems and are either a series of poems put together as if they were one, or are not poems at all. One line can destroy a poem from being a poem, even if it is almost altogether a poem.

Don’t overlook the fact that not only was the great American author bipolar, he was also an Atheist.

We have been lied to about Twain. It's too easy to write him off as a cynic. Yes, he saw thru patriotism as many did Vietnam and Iraq. Yes, he strongly objected to the Spanish American War, AS WE ALL DO NOW. That is not cynicism. It is realism, clarity informed by facts hidden from the public AND high moral ethics. So many great books have been written on this conflict. So few alleged Christians read anything at all, know anything at all, do anything at all good. They worship Jesus instead of following him. That is shit. That is why I do not call myself a Christian. I don't want to be like them or confused for one.

St. Twain at his best. Section One of What is Man reminds me of Plato's Dialogues, that I read decades ago like a student, rushed for time. They gain nuance one section at a time. The first one is false dichotomy that leads to cynicism, that there is no truth. The 2nd section ends clearly saying that our innate altruism us our best moral guide towards goodness. As a "Judeo-Christian" my theology is an intellectual distraction from that "still, small voice" that whisper of God we seldom take seriously enough. If we do, when we do, we want more and more if it. The prophets and Jesus were clear about this, especially Jeremiah. Jesus said, " My sheep know my voice.". He did not say to read a book about it. In Jeremiah 7: 21-23+, "Listen to my voice, and do what I say.". "Love thy neighbor." Love is the law. It always has been.

Student recordings can be lively and likeable, but with professional recordings available, one might look a little further.

I adore "The Comedy of Errors" for its uproarious blend of mistaken identities, witty wordplay, and farcical situations. Shakespeare's genius shines through in this comedic masterpiece as he orchestrates a whirlwind of confusion and chaos with two sets of twins and a series of hilarious miscommunications. The play's fast-paced plot keeps me thoroughly entertained, while its themes of love, family, and forgiveness resonate deeply. Each character adds their own unique flavor to the comedic concoction, from the bumbling Dromios to the perplexed Antipholuses, making every scene a delightful spectacle. Through its timeless humor and universal themes, "The Comedy of Errors" continues to captivate audiences and remind us of the joy found in life's absurdities. - alessio
