Hey JT! Amazing work! I’ve been having some trouble with my 6-ton a frame press not pressing evenly, leading to a slanted ring. I see in 2:11 of your video you have a ram head attachment for your press? I was wondering where you got that? I can’t seem to find one anywhere unless I machine it myself😅.

They are working on a free app that unlocks everything plus they also have a feature to check the diameter of the Coin as well.

I use Coin Snap, saves you the step of going to external links. Gives weight, circumference, rim including the KM number. It’s not always perfect with mint marks but it’s generally awesome.

KZbin why is this allowed, it's illegal to deface or destroy coins, U.S. Code section 331: This statute addresses the mutilation, diminution, or falsification of U.S. coins. You can be charged with on offense for fraudulently defacing coins, mutilating coins, altering coins, diminishing them, impairing them, scaling them, or lightening them.

No it is not illegal , please do your research. Comprehension is needed when interpreting the law.

No, it's not illegal to make coin rings in the United States, as long as you don't intend to defraud someone. Section 331 of Title 18 of the United States code makes it illegal to fraudulently alter, deface, or mutilate US coins, but the key word is "fraudulently". For example, you could be charged with violating this law if you change the appearance of a coin and try to pass it off as something other than what it is. Penalties for violating this law include fines and up to five years in prison
