I grew up in a Green Beret family. I remember the first time I heard SSG Sadler sing that song. We were on the front porch when my Dad, (SGM Richard Delaney), and some other group members talked him into singing it. Special Forces require dedication beyond belief. Dad was gone more than he was home. It was a tough life for the whole family.
