Wonderful song again - thanks Will! Lyrics kept me thinking: What is 'it' or what is pushing against us? My best guess would be 'time and transience/' and/or all the 'f*ck-ups of humanity' like e.g. climate change, ignorance, racism, all the populists in charge...the list goes on. What do you think? Maybe it`s just the ambiguity that fascinates me or I didn`t get it at all, because I'm not a native speaker.

Wow, this song is so moving. I listened to it on repeat for awhile this morning and it is a masterpiece.

I’m just glad that I drive a forklift for a living and I’m not a budding musician. ‘Cause if I was a musician, I’d be thinking, “I can’t do what Will Varley does. That guy’s just too bloody good. How can I compete with that?” And then I’d probably cry for a bit. And a fifty-something bloke crying is never a pretty sight. So I’ll see you in Notts tomorrow night Will, and I’ll clap and sing and drink and dance and thank my stars that I’m a fork truck driver.
