Quick question Wendy, do you have to “fix” the gelatos? Does it transfer over to other page?

@@anikrossignol8809 Hi, no the gelatos set, so once dry they are fine to work over and close the book without issues. I’d imagine if you got it wet, they would run, but once dry they are fine. 👍🏻

You did a beautiful job on all of the pages! I do have a question though....I'm new to the coloring world, and was wondering what people mean when they say "Amazon paper". Don't all the publishers use their own paper?

@@rubyfisch5077 Hiya, Lots of artists/designers/companies, use Amazon to print their books. Amazon then print on demand, depending on when people order. Most of these small 8x8 cute and cosy books are all Amazon print. Amazon has very limited paper types available, cheap, or very cheap!😉 it’s not actually easy to spot which books are Amazon print on Amazon, but if you can order the book elsewhere, it probably isn’t Amazon print. It’s an easy and cheap way to get your book published, without having a publisher. Hope that helps, x 👍🏻

Wendy your simple pages are delightful. After basing with markers & adding shading they come to life. In Cozy Spaces I like the top of the cozy red room, it gives you a drapery vibe. Doesn't Amazon US listen to colorist?? I will not purchase books if I believe it's printed on Amazon paper. I would be happy to spend a little more money for better paper.

Ohuhu glitter pens are amazingly glittery. Have been using them in place of stickles so that it does not have the raised issue but still the glitter I love them

Perfect pages imho Wendy ! I hardly had any time at all to color(just colored a few pages; my only double page spread was in Orchid Full of Flowers by Klara Markova). Kudos! Always ❤️ your style and your humor!!

Wendy ! Yer colouring is just so beautiful! The fish page ...The tiny transparent umbrella , the pink on bunnies' faces... Mysterious Travels - the way u colored the "flower" page and cherry train is just amazing! The colours are so vivid ! As for the book itself I find it very cute. I like the Sandwich Page, like it's saying PLS don't eat me I am such a cute sandwich... I like very much how u colored the dark lady portrait in colorya. Pity they 're closing... I always wanted 2 get their Hobby book but somehow I never got it and now it's 2 late, I gather. And the square books r so cute . The Monster doing laundry, Halloween,and all others that u coloured look just amazing ! Again, beautiful colouring and such vivid colours ! It's always a pleasure 2 watch yer coloured pages. How did u do the moon in the Princess' book? It's so shiny ! Which paints wld u recommend for such a shiny effect? As I wanna finally get meself some paints but dunno which 2 choose as there's such a wide range out there. As for korean books (so cute !) yer colouring is just stunning , u colour so beautifully ! Compared 2 the printed coloured versions yer colouring is so much better, again such vivid colours and a real pleasure 2 watch . Mine comment cld be just these 2 words: beautiful and vivid ! Really -like allways - enjoyed watching yer vid . Thank u so much Wen for sharing. P.S. I Remember someone saying a few months ago : I hv Minimania 3 and I ain't gonna get any more... ;) and now look! 4, 5... ;)

Really enjoyed watching this Wendy. I was driving home from work and thinking, this evening it would be nice to sit and colour and watch a video from Wendy and that’s what I did! Perfect! I’ve not got round to that Monsters colouring books yet, I really want to so we will see. Also I didn’t know Colorya are closing their business, sad about that as I did like their books in particular, such a shame! It was great seeing all your beautiful pages again. Wendy…..TOTALLY with you on the “challenging yet enticing “ coloring books in my own collection! Mine are: Kerby Rosane’s Mythic World(for some odd reason: I have literally almost finished his Alien Worlds, which I have done chapter by chapter-and now have pre-ordered his upcoming Dark Fairytales); Hanna Karlzon’s Spirit Animals(and I looooove it! ); Eriy books; the Aeppol books(I have 2); Maria Trolle books (although I REALLY want her SAGEN book); Vintage My Room (it’s on the top of my pile to get going in this year); Christine Karron’s lovely Wildflower Folk-(one of my faves); abd tons of my new Korean books. Like you, I think it’s down to time and grabbing what is more familiar? Lol. Ah, first world ‘problems’! Loving your picks btw, some of which I too have. Here’s to 2025! And Belated Happy New Year!
