Which accessory and which machine? Could be a compatibility issue? Check the accessory is inserted properly. Check your machine is selected in Design Space. Also, check the material is compatible with the accessory tool you want to use. If not that, try switching it all off, machine, iPad, Bluetooth, and then switch them all back on again. This will automatically update Design Space. If this doesn’t work, check out Cricut Help website and/or call the support service desk. Hope you are able to get it sorted🤞🏼

Yes that’s a tricky situation. In that case, I would put the foil on before loading the mat, then NOT put in the scoring stylus, (or with the wheel it will want to detect it first, but you can then take it out, take off the wheel nib, then put just the housing back in the machine, then press start. It will do the scoring (without doing it), then the foiling, and then you can remove the foil, and INSTEAD of unloading, put the wheel/stylus back in, press start again and it’ll do the scoring, then you can press unload. Hope that makes sense? 🥰

Hi Jane, oh I’m excited for you! I’ve had so much fun with my machine! There’s also been some challenges to overcome along the way. So here’s a link for the glue I use the most, it’s fast drying and dries clear, you do need to take care on thinner materials to either stick your items together quickly or use a spatula to spread the glue a bit so you don’t get a lumpy look on the ‘right’ side (hope that makes sense). The white card was a light cardstock around 180gsm so I used the light cardstock setting. I always check it has cut through before unloading, and if not, I press start again and do another cut. If I’ve used a pen or other tool as well, the machine will want to re-do those too, so I take them out of the clamp so it just passes over, unless I think another pass won’t harm, in which case I’d leave it in (e.g. a scoring tool) I hope that all makes sense. Hi, yes I used the Cricutmaker 3. I’ve just browsed all the materials and found it under the Art Board category. I’m using the Heavy Chipboard - 2.0mm. I did a chipboard project yesterday and it didn’t come up when I searched for Chipboard 🤷🏽‍♀️ I also had to recalibrate my knife blade as I saw the first cut go off the mat, so I stopped it quickly, recalibrated and flipped the chipboard over - it came out good.

I’ve just had a look and you’re right, that image is not free anymore 🙁 I think Cricut change their free images regularly. There’s only ever a very small selection of free images unfortunately.

I used a setting in between wool and cotton, as I was using the Foil HTV which is quite delicate (it can melt if iron is too hot or you press it for too long) 😊

Hi, I used a heat tool for a few seconds, but I’ve found better transfer tape now so don’t need to. I use clear book adhesive cover or masking tape which work really well 😊

I prefer to use white parchment paper, as I’ve found the Teflon sheet can leave a slight stain…
