Bro how do you only have 19 subs?? This video was great! I was one of these kids so I had to get the Waluigi mod all these years later!! I wanted Waluigi to be in the game so bad as a kid that playing the mod sort of satisfied that desire which was cool. Thanks for the retrospective!

Waluigi would make sense in the game since Wario was put in but each of the other 3 has something tied to them: Mario has so many enemies but Goombas do make sense as a form of them are usually the first type of enemy he meets in his games. Luigi has his fear of ghosts. Wario would try to challenge anyone foolishly with out warning even as someone as Chief Chilly. What does Waluigi got? Cheating. So you 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗗 put him in as a limited list of distributed codes but only one makes a Waluigi key appear on the Sun lit glass panel flooring in the castle entrance. Otherwise no clue on what boss you would have to face to unlock him and no clue on what abilities he would have either. M-Door: Someone is calling for help on the other side. L-Door: Someone is Shrieking on the other side W-Door: Someone is growling on the other side ˥-Door: Someone is picking at the lock on the other side.

I wish we got a remake for switch with more characters like Walugi. Peach. Daisy. Toad and Toadette but Peach is unlockable after u complete the final boss of course

He was supposed to be in the game but got cancelled out as he didn’t have much character development at the time the black box was indeed a link to waluigi the origional purpose was to be able to be broken into by wario when you have collected all the stars it’s possible to do it before the final fight it will take you to another negative section of the castle where you find waluigis portrait, the boss fight is a pirhanna plant

I wish Waluigi were added in Super Mario 64 DS!
